Rear Fog Light use case
I'm using it as a rear fog light. When I need it, I really need it, but that's only about thrice a year. Therefore, there is no need for drilling a hole to wire it into the interior and tap into the existing harness and splicing cables. Instead, I simply soldered the wires of the light to a cigarette lighter which I can plug in to the trunk of my car whenever it is needed. Black to negative (obviously) and yellow to positive give the highest brightness. Using the red wire instead of yellow looks dimmer. Dim is useful if you want to keep it always on and only make it brighter when hitting the brakes. For a fog light however, you want it continuously as bright as possible. For normal visibility that's a bit too bright. So don't forget to switch it off when there is no fog. Have fun!

Would buy again if I had to I did put some ceiling compound around the exterior just to be safe safe don’t really wanna go through the hassle of having to do this twice. Relatively easy to install works well.

Broke after less than 2 months
I love the way it looks and works but I’ve only had it for less than 2 months and the part that bends and allows you to change the angle of the light broke so my light is just dangling around by the wire while I drive

Looks great and works great...for a little while anyways...
I bought this item in October and already half the lights have burned out or shorted out. It worked great when I first installed it, as was described, but if I'd known it would barely last six months, I wouldn't have bought it to begin with. Now I'm back online looking for a replacement. It also could be a little brighter in my opinion.
