Great addition to the collection.
This is a great addition to the collection. Nice update to the classic Bird of Prey design. I'm a little baffled by the design of display stand. On most of the Eaglemoss ships, the stand usually displays the ship at a nose-up angle. This one displays the ship in a horizontal, if not very slightly nose-down configuration. It's a shame, because the bird of prey design painted on the bottom is a thing of beauty. Why hide it?

Too big for me
The quality is good. But similar to other reviews this item is too big, the enterprise looks smaller next to it

nice little ship, but pricey
I have a few of the Eaglemoss Star Trek ships and have found them to be of mixed quality. This Romulan Bird of Prey is pretty good. The paint application is well done, with clean lines and an appropriate amount of aztec pattern on both the top and bottom. I've always been a fan of the Romulan Bird of Prey design, and the version in Star Trek: Picard was mostly an improvement. I wish the buzzard collectors in the warp nacelles had been a clear green, but I understand how it would have been difficult to do that for such small parts of the ship. Two things hold this back from a higher rating. First, the price tag is pretty high for such a small ship. The bird of prey is about as large as some of the ships in Eaglemoss' regular Trek line (about 4 inches at its widest point). On its own, it's a fine size for a ship. I suspect Eaglemoss deliberately made this ship a bit smaller so it would be in scale with other ships from the Picard line. But, the size makes the $55 price tag seem excessive (the regular ships are only about $22). Also, like a lot of Eaglemoss ships, only the top is die-cast metal, while the bottom is plastic. I usually don't care, but at the price point that's less acceptable.Overall, I recommend this ship if you're collecting Eaglemoss' Picard line or really like the bird of prey design - or if you don't mind the price point.

Just the right size!
This is a perfect size for collecting. Large enough to show detail, but small enough that it could be easily placed on a shelf next to others. It looks very realistic, and comes with a clear stand that holds it firmly “in flight.” Recommended if you are a fan of the show!
