I have a 4lb Pomeranian and she loves it. I appreciate that it is not so low on my hip that she bounces off it when I’m walking. My last one was too long and bounced off my hip.It also has a pocket so I can throw my phone and wallet in it.

I have a large Argentine black and white tegu that I enjoy taking with me places at times and was looking for a pet bag that would work while keeping him close to my body. This bag is perfect!

Soft exterior however the interior lining piles after a few washes.

Very comfortable for me, and seems to be comfortable for my 9lb Rosabel too, although as you can see from the pictures, she's resting in a sitting or leaning position, not 4 paws on the bottom of the bag, so I'm not sure how comfortable she would be on a long hike in this (I plan to use it for only short periods when she's tired of walking and needs a break, or when in a shop). Wide strap and lightweight makes it easy for me to wear the bag, and the pocket seems big enough for a wallet (not sure I'd personally want to put a phone in it so close to my pup, but one would fit) and poop bags. The first time I put her in it, she wasn't so sure, but the bag does hold her close to my body, and I think she quickly enjoyed being snuggled and having a different view of everything. (I gave her lots of treats first ride in the bag!) This morning when she was snuggled up by my side on the sofa, I took the opportunity to put the sling down where she had already been lying, and it was easy when we were both sitting for me to put her in and put the strap over my shoulder and go into the bathroom where I took these pics. As you can see, she was pretty relaxed and this is only the second day.Rosabel, my long-haired chihuahua mutt, is 9 lbs or so, and this fits her well. I am 5'5" and like where it comes on my body (see photos). I do tend to support the bag with one arm/hand, but I also did dishes, took the photos, and made myself a sandwich using two hands while she just watched quietly, so hands-free is definitely doable and seems safe for brief periods if you dog is resting quietly. The bag seems sturdy, but it's only the second day and I will keep an eye on the stitching.I don't use the "safety strap" because I will feel her struggle long before she could jump out, and the safety strap and clasp just wouldn't hold a 9 lb dog in if she really was struggling. Maybe it would add safety for a tiny 3 lb dog, but I wonder if it is more false security? The bag wouldn't be safe if a dog doesn't want to be in it, and it would be a long fall. But as I said, my dog adjusted pretty quickly with treats and the view and the cuddliing. If your dog is a cuddler, I should think it will take to the bag pretty quickly if you're patient and positive. I've kept her in it for less than an hour at a time.I also ordered a different pet sling/bag which hasn't arrived yet and will update this review when I've had a chance to compare and contrast them.

The media could not be loaded. Pretty color and the neutral just goes with my everyday outfits. Let’s speak on the carrying of my mini poodle. It held him in place with the secure of the clip it had inside the bag. The strap is not adjustable, and it was a tad short. Would have loved the straps to have been longer. All in all it did work. The value on the fabric and the steadiness was so worth the price. And you can see my puppy loved it.

Carrier has a nice wide shoulder strap - I have a 5 lb Pomeranian and even she feels heavy after a while. Bag is roomy enough for a larger dog and that wide shoulder strap would really be useful in that case. The bag has a pouch on the outside where I put my car keys and a strap with a clip inside so you can attach your dog's collar. Coco loves riding around in it and my arms get a rest! I haven't had to wash it yet, but the fabric and construction should hold up well. Definitely recommend this carrier.

No support for the puppy below. It looks very uncomfortable as it’s curved for the animal. Would you like to lay in a U-shaped bag if you were the animal? I can’t imagine that being comfortable at all. Needs modification to create comfort for the animal. Previously used sticky, residue dried food on shoulder strap along with frayed thread. Personally, I just feel it’s very cheaply made thing and it’s not worth you wasting your money look somewhere else.
