Great curling iron for anyone who travels.

I used this on international travel and it was just as good as my regular curler(and I am picky). It is dual voltage which is key. I originally bought a voltage adapter to use my original curler on an international trip and I picked the correct one, did everything right and it literally fried mine.... but then I bought this (you don't need a voltage adapter if it is dual voltage), and it worked perfectly and was a life saver. good price too compared to in store.

...because it only lasted for six months. While I was on my trip I really liked that it griped my baby fine hair well, so when I got home I continued to use it. Within six months of light use (because I don't have a lot of hair, lol) it stopped heating up. It was good while it lasted...it just didn't last long.

I bought this to use on a three week trip throughout Europe (because of the dual voltage feature). I had no problems with it at all and felt that it heated up quickly, curled my hair very well, and weighed no more than any of my other curling irons. In fact, I feel it is best curling iron I have ever owned, so I continue to use it now that I am home.! If you want a good curling iron that will work universally, this is the one for you!

Bought this for a trip to Ireland because of dual voltage. It worked overseas but I didn't feel like it held a curl as well as my other conair curler that I have at home. My hair is very thick and curling takes a long time in general, but typically my other curlers hold a curl longer. My hair would fall into a wave by the end of the evening. It did work but it wasn't amazing. I didn't buy it thinking it would be life-changing, but I hoped it would perform just as well as other curlers. Overall, it was fine for a trip, but it is not a product that I would use now that I'm home.
