I had forgotten just how brilliant this novel is and truly could hardly put it down. It is one of Dickens' shorter novels and has a tremendous pace, the characterisation is irresistible, and the historical accuracy of the uprising against monstrous injustice which resulted in the horrors of the French revolution are contrasted to the safety and peace of London. The characters encircling Sydney Carton are vividly realised, but he really is the star of the book. His very fallibility makes him more real, his intelligence makes the reader long for a better life for him, and his heroism is unforgettable. The opening and closing passages are amongst the most famous in all literature, and they deserve to be.

التقييم للتوصيل و لحالة المنتج. اما الكتاب و النسخه هاذي بحد ذاتها مو افضل شيء شفته. كنت عارفه انها صغيره لكن لما مسكتها ف يدي استوعبت انها اصغر كتاب في مكتبتي. ويمكن لهذا السبب الخط يبان كبير بالنسبه لحجم الكتاب. الورق جداً خفيف؛ صراحه ما اشوف سعره يستاهل لكنه بشكل عام مقبول و يدخل في الجيب من صغره و الغلاف حلو
