Pau d'Arco Herbal Tea, 16 ct

Works well just be wary of the taste it’s not for everyone.

I recently started drinking Pau d'Arco tea for medicinal purposes, as it is highly recommended and touted to be very beneficial for yeast overgrowth (Candida albicans), among other things. I'd like to preface by saying that nothing (food, tea, supplement, etc.), no matter how therapeutically effective it might be, will do you any good if you don't eat, drink or take it. So, when it comes to something like tea, the flavor is very important. I find that I like the flavor of Traditional Medicinals Pau D'Arco Tea well enough when its hot or relatively warm. But I find that the flavor changes rather substantially as the tea cools. The change in the taste is not very palatable (to me) when its at room temperature, lukewarm, or cold. In my case, this is a pretty significant drawback since I live in the Southwest and during the hot summer months, I avoid drinking hot beverages and prefer to drink my tea cold. So, I look for teas that taste good hot or cold. As Traditional Medicinals is the first and only Pau D'Arco Tea that I've tried, I have nothing to compare it to. Because I understand the amazing health benefits associated with Pau d'Arco, I will try other brands. I'm open to the idea that this change in flavor is a feature of this tea. And, it may be that Traditional Medicinals will actually be the best tasting. I'll come back and update this review at a future date.

I very much enjoy this tea. This brand is quality. It has a very grounded and earthy flavor. Very impressed to see Traditional Medicinals has this Pau d'Arco tea. I learned how beneficial this ingredient is in combating parasites. I look forward to drinking more.

The box was damaged when it arrived but the actual tea bag’s were fine. I’ve never had this tea before but it did have a peculiar taste. It tasted almost like drinking wet paper towels I don’t know how else to describe it besides that. I drank it for medicinal purposes not flavor so it served its purpose for me. Overall item came as advertised besides the box being squished.

Love this stuff. If it's been recommended to you like it was to me, try it, it works. I've loved this brand for a long time so I had high expectations and they were met. It also tastes great and is relaxing even without any milk or honey. Robust and earthy tasting, without needing extra sweeteners. Works as a binder. Many tea companies use bleached tea bags though, so I plan on trying a different source next time, but I've bought this several times and would buy again. You always get the benifits and value you're looking for with this brand.

Good product

I love the flavor, it steeps for 10 mins. Dislike is I am not allowed to order more than one at a time.

I've really enjoyed this Pau d'Arco tea. It has a subtly sweet flavor that's not overwhelming, which I appreciate. It's a nice change from more traditional teas, and I've found it quite soothing.

Headline says it all. Please bring the price of this tea down.
