The stories themselves feel largely irrelevant to real life and come across as flat and unengaging. Instead of motivating me to learn, they mostly made me sleepy. It’s fine as bedtime material if your goal is to fall asleep quickly, but not if you’re trying to actively improve your German. For something marketed as a learning resource, it doesn’t actually feel very effective for learning at all. Overall, not what I was hoping for.
