I have a number of folders and all the stuff to sharpen them to a fine edge. But, setting it all up and doing it takes a lot of time, so when I saw this knife with replaceable blades, I bought it to use for incidental chores around the house & shop. I was a little concerned by some of the reviews, but I've had none of the problems others said they had. Some say the blade rattles, mine doesn't. Others said it comes open in their pocket, mine doesn't, and the mechanism to keep the blade closed seems pretty robust. The workmanship seems first rate and it has features found on larger folders, e.g., a well performing liner lock, flipper for opening the blade, etc. However, while the flipper works well, finding a way to hold this little guy while opening it is a bit of an issue - it is small, and my hands fit a large glove size. But I finally got the hang of it, and I like the small size. One downside is the blade retention system takes up a lot of space and the part closest to the handle and prevents slicing through thick items. And finally, I think it's a bit pricey for what it is, but I'll keep it anyway.

This small scalpel knife was much better than I expected for the price. This is an excellent skinning knife which more than met my expectations. If you are a hunter and looking for a great skinning knife, this is your tool.

This is a handy little tool. It is a bit smaller than I expected, but it does seem pretty well built. The blade that came mounted is very sharp, as expected for a scalpel blade. The detent to hold the blade closed seems adequate and provides enough tension that the blade flips fully open and locks when using the flipper. The opening is smooth, so much so I initially thought the pivot screw must be loose, but there is no play in the blade. I know the description said "titanium" but I didn't really expect the scales to be made of titanium. I can't say for sure if it is actually titanium, but it is very light, not magnetic (except for the screws and blade), so maybe it is? I don't think aluminum would hold up in the thin "spring" area of the liner lock. I would recommend using two hands to close it as the small size and sharp blade could easily result in an accident. The only reason I dropped one star was that I also ordered some #36 blades to use in this so I had a blade with a straighter edge, but the tip on those sticks out the end when folded. You may have to stick to the included #24 blades. Overall, I'm quite impressed. It will be really nice to just swap a blade out when it is dull rather than pulling out the sharpening stones. I'll probably look for another similar design with a slightly longer body that will hopefully cover the tip of the #36 blades I bought rather than buying another one of these, but I think this is going to be a very handy tool to have around.

I own quite a few knives and this became one of my favorites the moment I got it. It is very light, 31 grams on my scale, and the action is very smooth. It seems to be very well made and comes with extra blades in a small aluminum tin. The only fault I found was that the pocket clip was very tight and didn’t have enough upturn on the tip to slip into my pocket but this was quick easy to correct with a pair of needle nose pliers. Recommend this product.

Item is as advertised. Appears to be a very high quality, fit and finish is excellent. Sharp and should work as intended. The extra blades are a great feature. Would recommend this for anyone who has need for a small very sharp flipper opening liner lock type knife.

Very small knife - fits inside the watch-pocket of a pair of jeans, making either a nice little backup to a primary pocket-knife or a small hidden primary knife. The indent for the ball-bearing that keeps the blade closed is fairly deep, so this is safe to carry - it won't open accidentally and even using the flipper takes a little force. As for the liner-lock, it seems pretty robust - thick metal and I don't see how it could move by itself. I had to bend the nose of the pocket-clip back a little bit with a pair of pliers to allow it to slip over the thickness of a jeans' pocket, but that took 10 seconds. I'm happy with this little knife and would buy it again, maybe as small gifts for friends.

Blades are very sharp, easy to replace.

Smaller than I expected but otherwise a solid knife. Blades are easily changed.
