The best of the best
Little did I know how perfect this seasoning would be. It took my guacamole from typical basic chick to award winning flavor. Everyone was addicted to my guac.

Everything But the All Natural Guacamole Seasoning
I love it but I am aware the flavor is very subtle. I still love it. I can`t explain why. By itself, you won`t make a good guacamole. You still need to add your own ingredients such as garlic, onions and lime. It still helps to enhance the flavor in the end. I like it because it is very natural and not too salty. But I won`t lie, it is not flavorful as I expected.

Outstanding spice mix. Wonderful seasoning for guacamole
Wonderful seasoning mix very flavorful and versatile. With this seasoning I have received many complements on my guacamole. I have used this seasoning on roasted vegetables also. Yummy!

Mildly tasty
I have never actually put seasoning in guac. When I make guac I mash up avocado, add just a touch of sour cream, squeeze some lime in it, chop up onions, tomatoes, jalapenos, and cilantro, then just add some salt. This seasoning is great to make a ‘lazy’ guac in which you just add this to some avocado instead because it has garlic, onion, salt, jalapeno, cilantro, pepper flakes, lime juice, and cayenne, but it doesn't quite deliver on the flavor.I get a lot of spice, but I'm missing the tang of the promised lime and I dont really taste much of anything when mixed in with avocado. The container is cool because it’s bottom is magnetic so you can stick it on your fridge or stove top. The top of it rotates to allow you to pour or sprinkle the seasoning. I guess you can reuse the tin after you’re done with this blend.I think this is expensive for what you get. I can buy seasoning in bulk for much less and can achieve better flavor with raw ingredients, but I can see the convenience factor being a major reason to be willing buy this.It does taste good on other food as well such as chicken or potatoes, but the amount you get is too small to use for cooking really.

Yummy in guacamole or any Mexican-inspired dish
This is the third Gustus Vitae seasoning blend I've gotten and I am impressed with the quality and unique mixes that are available only from Gustus Vitae -- no other companies even come close to their unique blends. I am also impressed with the flavor of this particular spice blend as well as how easy it is to whip up some guacamole! Normally I make guacamole by chopping up all sorts of veggies, like tomatoes, jalapenos, onion, cilantro, etc.. Then I stir in a squeeze or two of lime juice and a dollop of sour cream. The process can take awhile. But I was in a hurry the other night and simply stirred this seasoning into a mashed avocado and it was delicious! I'm so pleased to have a quick and easy way to make fresh guacamole on those nights when I just can't face a half hour of peeling and chopping.I have also found that this seasoning is perfect for just about any Mexican dish, for example seasoning ground beef for tacos, sprinkling onto grilled chicken fajitas, sprinkling atop a pan of chicken enchiladas or stirring into scrambled eggs.... this stuff is yummy on basically any Mexican or TexMex food. And I love the little metal tins with magnetic bottoms - you can stick them anywhere that's convenient, like on the fridge or on the oven door. They also stick together, so if you have several like I do, you can stack them one on top of the other for a very tall tower that is sturdy and easy to store, thanks to the magnets.Overall this is a great brand and this Tex-Mex/Mexican seasoning is one of my favorites. It tastes great in guacamole or really any sort of Mexican food.

Came Open
Came open and no way to return or get help getting replaced which is unfortunate.

Ahchoo!
Though nothing is as good as fresh, the taste is good for guacamole and other dishes that need some punch. If you use the built in shaker, be careful! It sent up airborne particles that set me sneezing! I now remove the lid and use a spoon.

Citrusy with subtle spicy notes
This spice mixture has a subtle citrus flavor and gentle spicy kick. I used it to make a dip for my potato chips, and I was not disappointed. As far as convenience is concerned, this is an extremely easy product to use. I sprinkled a couple teaspoons over a small bowl of sour cream, and mixed it in. It was a fun and different take on a sour cream and onion dip. The cilantro and lime flavors add a nice brightness to the mixture, and there's just enough salt and pepper flavor to make it satisfying. This is a fairly mild mixture, so if you like heat, you will probably want to add more of your own cayenne to the mixture.Although the spices are yummy, my favorite aspect is the metal tin. This thing is a winner. It comes with a metal lid that rotates for either sprinkling or pouring. I still found myself carefully taking the lid off to scoop some out with a measuring spoon, but that's easy, too. The tin sticks to most metal surfaces in my kitchen, including my stove, fridge, and pantry shelves. There are just a few ingredients in this: Garlic, Onion, Salt, Jalapeño, Cilantro, Red Pepper Flakes, Lime Juice, Red Cayenne Peppers. I love that everything is all natural with no additives or fillers. The spice mix is packed in a tightly sealed plastic bag tucked inside the metal tin. Visually, there's a lot of fresh looking green flakes, and some bright red pepper pieces, along with some chunky onion and garlic bits.At $8.50 each, these spice mixes are a decent value, and probably something I would purchase in the future for gifting to my family and friends.
