Bright Lights, Works Submerged, Use Tape
I followed the directions and it was easy to install. The wire supplied was the same gauge as the old wires (good or bad). I have an enclosed frame, so I taped the new wires to the old and threaded them through from front to back. One rear light lit up dimmer than the other, but it was due to a bad ground where the light plate is bolted to the trailer; not any fault of the kit. I grounded to the mounting bolt of the light on the mounting plate, not the trailer itself. I tightened that down to improve the ground and the light became bright. If your lights are dim, check your ground! The kit comes with wire nuts and connectors. I used the connectors for the side marker lights and wrapped them up good with electrical tape to waterproof them. At the back I spliced the wires instead of using the wire nuts, then I wrapped those connections with electrical tape (not included, but you aren't wiring your own trailer if you don't already have electrical tape). Wire nuts are just awkward to tape and I didn't want to leave them exposed to the elements. I've used this kit at the boat launch several times now. I've been leaving the lights plugged in and on while submerging and haven't had any problems. The lights stay lit under water and I've even had the 4-flat connection take a dip without it shorting. (The 4-flat connection isn't really designed for full submersion, so don't make it a habit.) Others have mentioned the drain holes in the bottom of the lights and the fact that the wires aren't sealed at the point where they enter the back of the lights, but the LEDs must be sealed by themselves inside of the light fixture because even with water inside the fixture the lights stay lit. I'm happy with the kit.

You will not be disappointed with this trailer light kit
This is an awesome trailer light kit. It has a replacement wire harness for the entire trailer. The wire is copper and is heavier gage then what was on my trailer. It comes with wire tee connectors, trailer clips to hold the wire and of course the trailer lights. This is a quality kit and has everything that you need. It even has 4 red/white reflective tapes to add to your trailer frame.

Cheap wiring
Installed this kit and couldn’t get power through the green wire, after a couple hours of troubleshooting I ended up having to buy a new wire from the auto part store. The wire that comes with this kit is about as cheap as I have ever seen. This was a great way to spend my Saturday....

Buyer Beware
I installed the set as instructed. It's a basic wiring diagram for a boat trailers. I tested the previously installed vehicle connection at the vehicle and found power. After I installed the lights on the trailer they wouldn't work at all. Direct power to the lights revealed some lights were inoperable. I've requested a replacement set but I'm skeptical on the outcome. The best I can figure is that some of the lights are inoperable and the supplied wiring has shorts in it. The combination creates a prefect storm for frustration. Test EVERY line and light with a multimeter before you install the kit.

Orange Marker lights are non submersible junk
So far after a month of having them the brake lights have worked no problem and are really crisp and bright. However the orange marker lights are not submersible and have worked intermittently since the first time under water. Don't bother using the quick connect clips they give you cuz those only cause more problems. Just solder the wires and use shrink wrap and you'll never have to worry. Except for the cheap marker lights and ghetto crimp connectors everything else seemed to be nice and has lasted many trips into saltwater
