This is a fantastic item. I purchased it with the Reekon T1m digital tape for building honeybee boxes and equipment. I use the M1 for all the smaller repetitive cuts. It is extremely accurate for cutting multiple precision like length pieces. Important when dealing with 1/4 Inch bee space. I have since found many uses for this item cutting pieces for projects around the place. It even works for measuring miter and bevel cuts. I find myself looking forward to opportunities to go use it. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

I don’t need this but I love it now that I’ve used it. It’s accurate and easy to use. The design and build quality are a great addition to my saw and the functionality makes it incredibly fast and easy to get good accurate repeatable cuts. It is a luxury item for me and I use it for finer detailed woodworking where I need to make very accurate cuts. It makes measuring and cutting accurately so much faster that it would be a great value for the money on a job site where production throughput needs to be high.

It is a fantastic product, very accurate and save me alot of time. I have a gerong saw with red laser beam that I can almost not see it especialy when there is a bright light, the m1 now enable me not to require the use of the laser beam, every cut is very precise, just calibrate it first and then just cut, no marks, no measuring just roll and cut, fantastic

I'll give you all a moment to stop giggling The Reekon M1 is one of a few items over the past couple years that I saw used on Youtube that turned into a serious game changer. ====> AS LONG AS YOU SET IT UP AND CALIBRATE IT PROPERLY! <==== Make sure to verify that your blade kerf is set correctly in the M1 or every cut will be slightly off. I have a Bosch GCM12SD Miter saw and quickly found out it was not immediately compatible. My fences don't have a proper spot to clamp onto so I had to purchase their adapter fences and mount them first. Annoying yes, but not a deal breaker. In reality i maybe could have researched that but I was a bit too excited. Either way once you get the blade kerf dialed in and your first calibration cut out of the way, you are on your way to perfect repeatable cuts. Its also super portable, I brought it with me to my Brother-in-laws and mounted it on his Metabo miter saw while helping him build a fence. Pros: Easy to read display, super accurate, vastly speeds up my cut lists, and comes in a nice foam storage case. Cons: For the cost they could have included the 2 AA batteries needed, make sure the piece you are cutting doesn't have major depressions or knot holes in the path of the measurement wheel ( the wheels distance traveled will be different from the straight length ), and you may not know if your saw is 100% compatible until you're there with the device in hand

I am surprised how much I like this measuring tool for my miter saw, yeah a bit disappointed it didn't fit my miter-saw out the box but they sell a kit and it worked out well for me, I do small wood working projects and this is perfect for it, its easy to use and I got it on sale so...good value for me. Now do I wish this out the box was cheaper for up and coming wood workers? sure, 100% but company's gotta make money and there is some serious good build quality on this thing so I also get the price.

Not worth it in any means my friends. There is no substitute for a good tape measure or a jig type set up . The roller pics up dirt on the boards and everything else. I tried this thing every way I could and it did not give me an accurate measurement in any application i used including there step by step instructions or videos on this . There needs to be one using a laser measuring system but , this Would defeat the value. I would say it would be best to make a stop jig set up using old fashioned Know how and wood . But , for this thing, do not waste your time and money like I did would be Very good advice

I run a professional cabinet/furniture shop. Tried this tool for about 1/2 hr. Several issues....had to re-calibrate tool when turning off and back on. Power button did not always function. A problem, considering it needs to be turned off and on to recalibrate. Also, not a practical tool considering cost. There are several operations I routinely do on the miter saw that the Reekon tool simply could not do or would be very cumbersome to use. I invariably went back to my stop block and integrated tape measure which is "NASA" accurate and has been that way for 30 years. Considering the cost, the Reekon tool should be perfectly accurate, useful for ALL miter saw operations, and should be able to make a dry martini that would make James Bond proud. Update. Tool works better. “Blade calibration” instructions were not clear. After dialing in blade kerf thickness, much improved.

I seldom do reviews to get one you have to be really good or really bad. I purchased the Reekon M1 to use on my sawmill for the vertical movement of the saw and it worked perfectly in spite of not having been designed for that application. It also works well on my miter saw as it’s intended to. Then after a couple of years it refused to power up knowing that warranty's don’t last forever I contacted the company to see if they could repair it before ordering a replacement. After a few emails to troubleshoot the problem they sent me a replacement unit. Long story short this is a tool that works well and is backed by a company that believes in its products and supports its customers.
