Bosch 8 kg 5 Star Touch Control Fully Automatic Front Load with Heater (WAJ2426AIN, White)

This review is based on a very first day impression and would keep on updating the same as I experience it more and more.Well, first of all, after a long research on brands, capacity, front/top load options etc. I arrived at the decision to go for Bosch # 24463IN front load washing machine. (if you google around for all brands and types comparison you would come to how front load types are better than the top load ones.. no significant differentiator though)Well, IFB v/s Bosch has been the main rivals in today’s world in my opinion and I opted to go for BOSCH based on my personal research and study so far!Amazon Delivery : Stars 5/5got this machine delivered in 3 days after placing the order. Actually Amazon does insist to block a delivery date and a time slot as per your convenience ay at the time of placing the order. And they kept their words. Good and thanks Amazon!Cost to the Pocket : Stars 5/5Grabbed the knocking deal on Amazon Prime day and saved around 5500 bucks than the normal offer. (4K for exchanging old full automatic 5 years old machine with 9k original price) and 1.5 K with ICICI credit card offer. So in total got this machine for 24K approx.. (that too with 0% interest EMI for 6 months.. cherry on top of a cake)Product Installation: Stars 5/5The Amazon outsourced installation guy called me to check the delivery status even before getting the actual delivery. He shared the number and asked me to call back once the delivery is done. Wow! That was a pleasant surprise! He came after the delivery and gave me a quick basic demo which is good enough if you already know how automatic washing machine typically work.. You need additional 250 cash for a water pipe inlet adapter to fit the water tap you have. Cant complaint!Product Look and Feel: Stars: 5/5Looks sturdy and heavy duty. I bought the White one (model # 24463IN, 8KG) and saved 2K as that of Silver. 2K for Silver color ? common ? not worth. The White looks more fresh and splashy. Trust me!The Performance (this is what ultimate counts for me) : Stars: 4/5The performance rating is based on first demo run. I would update continuously and genuinely over a period of time.. so wait and watch!1. Easy and wide menu (touch screen). By default it sets 40 degree water temp for most categories. You can override it though if it is not really required2. Noise level: Operation is quite. However, the noise that it makes during the spinning/drying is notable but this is pretty much the same across all top leading brands. No surprises..3. Cleaning of cloths : good quality wash4. Drying : average drying capacity (same as many other budget front/top load machines. The difference is unnoticeable) may be I tried only with Super quick mode only. Need more experiences5. Overall: a good quality wash with minimum waterVerdict: A good deal with the given budget, brand and the features you get with the Bosch assurance. I would definitely recommend to go for BOSCH (a German tech that you can always rely upon)I am reserving one star for performance as I have not tested all functions and features yet.. I know I will not be disappointed though.. :)

The machine is good as far as washing is concerned, but make sure the water tank is at a height of atleast 15ft from the machine. If the machine is to be kept on the terrace right under the water tank, this machine is a real pain and the technicians who visit will use the same reason for any issue reported. This apart the machine is quite, washes well.

The media could not be loaded. Bosch is better than IFB and LG/Samsung in washing machines segment. IFB makes a lot of noise and vibrate much. LG has direct drive and after sales support but expensive. As I’m strictly on budget this time chose this Bosch model over anti-tangle which costs 7k extra. Coming from top load washing machine user to front load washing machine user observed the clothes comes out without tangling. Between 1200RPM and 1400RPM not sure if there is any much difference in drying efficiency. And one more reason anti tangle model not offering extra discount on exchange. I purchased this washing machine around Rs.26000 includes exchange discount and cashback which is absolutely great deal.Delivered in 3 days after ordering. Little hassle and follow for installation after delivery. But after 4 days of delivery installation happened finally. Installation people don’t have much knowledge on tap fittings. They will ask 3/4 inch tap reducer or extension pipe etc and you will find it difficult to understand and even sanitary shops sometimes don’t have these accessories. Best option is to ask for washing machine tap which fits the filter or inlet pipe directly to the tap. Installation person didn’t try to sell any accessories. He gave me extended warranty of 3 years directly from Bosch for Rs.1499 which is worth and I took it by paying online directly to Bosch India Home Appliances. During installation tap is not connected as I was confused with the tap fittings and accessories. Installed the tap later. Next executive called me and asked if it’s working properly after the tap fittings and checked for any leakages he is ready to help me. Thumbs up for the follow up.All in all very much satisfied with the product. It’s been two days I have been using the product and felt the washing quality is good. Noise level 60DB on sound meter while spinning which is quite low for 1200RPM.Couple of cons:The expected time for any given wash option is not fixed. It changes during wash mostly takes extra 15-20 mins for complete wash, rinse and dry though tap water pressure is high.Build quality is good. Plastics quality is average and not comparable to my old Whirlpool washing machine build quality.

I am using this for last 1 week. I purchased during Diwali sale. Got a good deal from Amazon. However if I would have waited for a day would have got additional ₹800 for exchange 😊. Over all am happy with the product.Pros:1. Inbuilt heater.2.Very less noise3. Hassle free installation by Bosch and Amazon raise the installation request.4.quick was is really awesome. Upto 2 kg will b washed in 15 to 30 min.5.Saves water. I was using Samsung top load before and noticed it was making the drum full but in bosch i found it is using only it is required.6. One day delivery is awesome from Amazon. Ordered on 20 Oct 5 pm received 21 oct 11 AM.Cons:1. Installation person does unnecessary marketing.2I paid additional 1500 for awc to technician. He mentioned it will b 3 years any part damaged will be replaced with 0 cost, no visiting charge. So its total 5 years including 2 years initial from Bosch and 3 years additional.But i still didn't get any proof yet. Will call customer care and check.3. Silver is 2k extra dont know why bosch is charging extra. White looks awesome but difficult to maintain.
