nice cast iron look
this paint gives a nice cast iron look, it's thin and won't fill the voids from the sand casting so the manifolds still look like sand casted parts! My tip is that you find a local metal stripper and have them acid dip your manifolds so they are completely rust free, then paint them with a 1" bristle brush. The manifolds will smoke quite a bit when you fire the engine for the first time so do this outside so you are not breathing the fumes!

the high temp gray paint seemed to have more of a silver look than gray

Looks working
Tried on my semi truck exhaust pipes to protect from corrosion and it works. Just couple days passed tho, but i like it. Pipes looks awesome and I hope it will keep long while.
