I built two irregularly-shaped screen doors, 48" and 72" wide, for porches on a country house. The key to making the design work was to use pivot hinges, in one case off-center, in the other, centered. These hinges are solid and beautifully made. The completed doors pivot so smoothly it's almost miraculous. I swear I could gently blow on them and they would turn. The installation can be a bit tricky, but the seller responded quickly to my questions and sent instructions which allowed me (as a skilled but decidedly amateur carpenter), to install them perfectly in a tricky application. When shopping for these, I saw pivot hinges for well over $100. I can't imagine what they offer over these at a tiny fraction of the price.

Strong and strudy. Used them for a semi-secure storage spot in my closet. More of a hidden shelf. They are quiet and unnoticeable. Highly recommend them.

We bought these units to modify our kids bedroom closet doors. They were originally sliding doors and we didn't want to cut the doors down or change the woodwork to be unusable for future owners. These pieces are awesome in that the kids have full wide open access to their closets and we didn't' have to do much work. The appearance now is the 'overlap' like a slider door but they swing open. we had to install a stopper at the top which we stained and a bit of if a bottom piece for it to sit on to rise above the carpet but once we we get new decent carpet you will never see that part. The hardest install was hanging it close enough to look right open and shut and not have it hit the surrounding wood frame and getting it level. My son's closet, one door sways open on it's own so he puts a shoe in front of it (that was our first attempt. Once you figure that out though, it is soooo easy and we did 2 closets (4 sides) in record time. Our kids can't be happier. I'm thrilled that it's the original woodwork, the original size doors, we didn't damage anything and it can be put back to sliders if the next owner wants it. The doors open all the way to fully see what's inside. We didn't install new handles (we didn't feel necessary) This unit can be great for new install or for modification. We did a closet years ago just like this but we had to cut out for hinges and while we saves they doors, the frame can't be switches back since you would always see the modification. I think these pieces are perfect. They are a bit scary and tricky to install, but watch some videos and have some common sense and you will do fine.

Works great for my needs. I used it in fabricating a rotating TV assembly. I like it's simplicity, very little to go wrong which in my case would cause significant damage to house and electronics if it did.

The base of both hinges is bent so they don't turn freely. Poor manufacturing and no quality control. One of them also had the paint scratched because of inferior packaging.
