This is an update to my original post. I gave this hardware 4 stars originally because they did not offer a right handed handle so I had to mount a left handed handle upside down. Looks like the company listened to the feedback and now offers a right and left handed option. So I am upgrading to 5 start review. This is really nice hardware. Very sturdy and classy looking. I've purchased four of these. On two of my doors I had to buy an extra long spindle to mount along a 4x4 post. My gate sits next to a 4x4 post with another 5/8" siding. The spindles are not long enough. You have to order longer hex spindles which Amazon does sell. I bought 12" spindles from Feelers (304 Stainless Steel Hex Rod Bar S8 Opposite Side 5/16" Hexagonal Rod, 250mm Length). These match the handle 5/16" knob perfectly. I cut them down with about 3/4" sticking out of the gate and then screwed the other handle on. I think the overall effect is very good. Handle works great and has a built in spring so the handle always snaps back to horizontal. My gates open and close very nicely and the handle looks more like a modern door knob than a gate latch. I have standardized on this handle for all my gates. Highly recommended, 5 stars. Much better than anything I could find at big box. Very architectural looking and classy.

I really like this product. It looks great and works perfectly. The latch itself is solid and well-designed. However, my only complaint is about the screws that come with it. They’re poor quality and strip way too easily. I recommend using your own stronger screws for installation.

This is a great little latch that works from both sides. You only have to drill the one hole for the turn bolt, then screw it in each side and attach the catch plate. Smooth, solid action and good-looking, too. The two supplied turn bolts weren't the right length for my gate, so I had to saw off the end of the longer one to make it fit. Easy. The only drawback to this latch is you can't lock it, but I don't need that feature.

Looks nice but if you push on the gate the latch pops out and the gate opens. Happens with wind gusts as well.

Works exactly as designed and installs very easily. Instructions for handle and latch placement take all the guesswork out of the simple install. Works perfectly. My only complaint was not knowing ahead of time the ideal mounting for the handles is into a 2” thick board. I needed to mount mine to the 1x6 fence board and it didn’t hold well until I reinforced it with an additional 3/4” piece of plywood. The company reached out unsolicited after the sale and offered a longer hex bolt (which installs between both handles so they turn in sync) in case the one they shipped wasn’t long enough. Good customer service.

Easy to install, great quality and looks great too

This set can ONLY be used for a PUSH OPEN TO THE RIGHT GATE. My gates are not able to open in both directions so this didn’t work. The latch only has like a 15 degree rotation which why it’s capability is limited. I would recommend the manufacturer to change this to a 90 degree and it would sell out like crazy. Also to ad the ability to change it from a left or right hinged gate.

Contemporary design and it solidly made. Easy to install and simple mechanism.

Why is it so hard to find a door handle or your gate? I'm very pleased I found this, it looks like good quality, and will be very simple to install and alter if needed. Shipping was fast so I recommend this seller and the handle. Note: not installed yet as I am waiting on posts to install the gate.
