My 10 year old son is a LEGO freak. I got him as many back to school LEGO items I could find, this included. Inside it fits 4 pencils, 3 LEGO highlighters, with room to spare for a 6" ruler and maybe some markers. Outside the round zipper pockets are perfect to store erasers, sharpeners and ear buds. Which is exactly how we're using it. Canvas material and looks very sturdy.
