Hirn einschalten!!!

Excellent bar tape!
This may be some of the best bar tape I have bought in a long time. It is long enough for today‘s wide gravel bars, it doesn’t have the glue strip but a tacky back that makes getting the perfect wrap easy -yet stays put, and it has a great surface feel and structure: non-slip and just enough sponginess to adsorb road vibration. The only drawback is that it only comes in black and doesn’t come in olive green. Compared to other „long“ bar tapes the price is more than competitive.

Shame!!!
I've ordered this twice before, and it was perfect. Unfortunately, this wasn't.One roll was damaged, looked squashed, and the finishing tape was missing? I'd fitted one side perfectly, then went to do the other side, and as I unrolled it, it was awful. So now I have one nice new, perfect side, the other still has the old tape fitted!?😤

BEST BANG FOR THE DOLLAR
Yes, you can buy cheaper bar tape (and I have many times), but this is my 3rd order of this item and I haven’t found anything as good for my money.PROS:(A) LENGTH. 94 inches of tape for each side which is 10-15 inches longer than many other brands. This allows me to increase the padding on my bars by overlapping each turn a bit more than normal. I need the extra padding due to my hands becoming numb when I ride long distances. If you don’t need the extra padding, you can always cut off any excess as you get close to the stem. The extra length also allows you to do a figure 8 around the shifters, if you like to wrap that way. In any scenario you should never run out of this tape on traditional road bike drop bars like my Trek road bikes have.(B) GRIPINESS. Just the perfect amount of grip. Not too sticky, but more than enough to keep your hands from sliding around on the bar. Good padding too along with the grip.(C) LONGEVITY. This tape seems to last at least several hundred miles longer than cheaper tapes I have purchased. Can’t quantify it exactly, but my reorders don’t seem as often and I ride about the same.(D) NO SLIDE. This tape once placed doesn’t slide around on the bar as some others do. Now I help that a bit by using a tip I saw on the Internet where I FIRST wrap my bars with hockey stick tape (sticky side up). Not only does the hockey tape give me just a tiny bit more padding, but when you wrap the bar tape over it, it makes a strong bond with the hockey tape and the bar tape never slips. When you go to remove the tape, the hockey tape – since it was placed sticky side up – comes off easily.CONS:(A) INITIAL PRICE. It’s only a con if you don’t consider how long it lasts, but it is a bit more costly initially.(B) COLOR. This really isn’t a con either, but I did order WHITE once. It looked great for about a week and then it looked awful. No matter how I tried to clean it, it just didn’t look bright white any longer. Don’t get me wrong, I like the looks of white bar tape on a road bike, but it’s just easier to go with black and be done with it. No matter what you get on it, black will still look black the day you have to remove it.OVERALL: I REALLY appreciate the extra length this company put onto its tape roll. 94 inches doesn’t seem like a big deal, until you realize you haven’t wrapped as close to the stem as you would like. Until I see something much better, this is the bar tape I’m going with.

Great tape
Tape is fantastic. Durable to work with and super forgiving when re-wrapping. Nice amount of kush but feels dense at the same. The bar ends and finishing tape aren't great, though the tape has a nice feel. Would buy again, though!
