These are decent Dressy caps. Not meant for rough wear and tear.
I've seen the reviews for these be pretty bad. But I actually like these caps a lot. They have a nice sheen to them that make them a little more clean and attractive for outside wear. Outside meaning running errands? Traveling? Heading to work? Heading out to meet friends and family. I use these caps for my daytime use. BUT they are absolutely too fragile for nighttime use. I use other caps for that. Pictured you can see me wearing one. You can see the weak spot that does tend to rip. (I still wear the ripped ones tho. It's really not noticeable and doesn't affect daytime use at all. And you can see the braids that I keep pretty protected and laid down during the day. Overall I say a decent investment for daytime/none rough usage. They should be a PART of your haircare team. Not your only ones. They are too small and fragile to stay on at night. But I say give them a try. I really like them for my braid covers. Just be delicate putting them on and taking them off. Hope this helps. I've ordered twice and would order again. I actually wish they had a few more colors because they're a very (looking) material. They may not be appropriate for folks w waves. I'm not sure how well they would stay on my head if I didn't have the braids underneath filling the cap.

Tight in the beginning but wears in nicely
Its a tight in the beginning but eventually wears in and stays in place and doesn't easily come off. Which is what I wanted anyway.

Happy Spouse, Happy House
Repeat purchase! My husband is bald and uses a CPAP at night. He puts this on before putting on his mask and it prevents irritation. So far we’ve only had to replace them because he’s lost them or the dryer has eaten them as an appetizer to the socks. He’s happier when he sleeps well and I’m happier when his snorting doesn’t wake me up through out the night.

Helped my hair when I wear to bed.
First off, I'm a white guy with a low fade, so I can't speak to how they'd help with a black man/woman's hair. But I can say, I get bad bed head from side sleeping that doesn't wash out with my morning shower, so much so that my barber and I thought I developed a new cowlick in my adult life. I searched for solutions all over the internet and came up with nothing. Outta nowhere, I thought of my black friends having wave caps and a lightbulb went off, it holds your hair down, why wouldn't it prevent a fake cowlick? So I bought these and after about a week of wearing my "cowlick" was gone. I forgot to take them on a week vacation and the "cowlick" came back, so clearly they've fixed my issue. 1 of the 4 got a hole in it and I threw it out, but otherwise I wear them to bed every night and wash them in the laundry every week and they've held up great, especially for how cheap they were.
