Après la surprise de voir un jeu nettement plus petit que le jeu de table, présentation astucieuse pour un jeu de voyage avec pièces aimantées et couvercle de la mallette se défaisant complètement.

Medieval strategy
We stubbled across this game in an art gallery in York. My son asked to play it, so after a quick look at the rules we started and were hooked. We found the travel version on Amazon and bought it so we could play it out and about, on the train, etc. My son is four and the age range on the box is 8+ but we've made the rules a little easier by not worrying about capturing the other players pieces. Once these rules get a little too easy, we'll introduce the full rules and I can see the longevity of the game being extended.Simple to pick up and harder to master which I think is a good thing for a game. The magnets aren't super strong (the pieces will fall off if you turn it upside down) but strong enough that a swaying train won't scatter the pieces. Excellent game even for those under the age range.

Pure Genius
I bought the full size version of this game a few weeks ago and LOVED it! My girlfriend and I play it all the time and my friends always want to challenge us when they're over. This travel size edition is about half the size and comes in the most adorable wooden case. The case not only has a metal latch on top, but also two pegs and two magnets on the bottom to keep it sealed when not in use. What impresses me most of all is that the pieces and the board itself are magnetized so that you can literally flip the board upside down and all the pieces will stay in their respected positions. A very clever and practical feature for any game intended for travel use. The game itself is wonderful, challenging, and a blast to play. Combined with this ingenious design, I would highly recommend this to anyone that enjoys quick, exciting, and mind stimulating games. Always think a few moves ahead! A+ Recommend!
