I bought this for myself (an adult) as I've recently gotten into building wooden models. This is my 5th one, and others I've bought were from another brand but all turned out great. This model from Wood Trick was fun to build.That being said, a couple of steps in the instructions could've been more clear. I'm used to building models where instructions where illustrated in a similar way (all pictures, no text except for a legend on the first page), but there were a couple of steps that confused me so I looked up the assembly video on Youtube. I'm 100% certain I would've made an irreversible mistake if I didn't search for the video, so I highly recommend it as a supplement to the booklet. My finished gun DOES shoot and comes with enough pieces to make extra bullets should you lose some. Be sure to sand all pieces and wax the ones indicated! I'm very pleased with this model!

Marke sure you have plenty of sandpaper and wax.This was my first wood model. The directions were very clear. Mine does shoot, everything needs to be sanded very well. Thanks for an awesome product.

I was heasitant to buy this having previously purchased a similar kit of an M4 riffle and having slivers and toothpick stab wounds for a while. However im glad i bought it. It was much easier to build and could be done with my kids. The function works greak and its fun to play with (seriously considering upgrading the rubber bands as it only "fires" about 8-12 feet). I wish there was a way to make it semi auto instead of having to manually pull the slide each time but that would probably make it much more complex to build. All and all its a fun build, looks great, and is a functioning model. Im working on building a whole set of "weapons" then bulding a wood gun case for my desk display at work.

This item is super cool and I gave as a gift. I told from the person that I gave it to that the instructions were not in English. He stated it was really difficult at times but he was able to solve the build and it is really cool when completed.

Got this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he absolutely loved it he loves to do model cars and stuff so I thought maybe he’d enjoy this too and he did! Highly recommend if you need to buy a gift for a model car type hobby person!

So.....Putting this puzzle together was the best one I have ever bought.HOWEVER, it does not work at all. I could hear a sound like it would shoot, but absolutely not!!!!!And so I was sent a replacement which order then was cancelled at the last moment without notifying me. And I can say that this is the WORST seller i have ever experienced on Amazon.This woman emailed me that they could send me parts if I told them which ones I needed, even though i had reported to them that it's impossible to take the puzzle apart once it is put together. And I reminded her that it simply does not shoot. Rudely, I was told that no replacement would be sent. The price itself is highway robbery for an item so talked up that it enthralls. But the end result is the seller getting money for a piece of trash.I am grateful to Amazon's A to Z guarantee which issued me a full refund.Seriously folks DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS SELLER'S CLAIMS AND KEEP YOUR MONEY FOR SOMETHING WORTHWHILE FOR THIS WOOD TRICK PUZZLE IS PURELY A SHAM.

Might take up too 3 hour build time for a child. Adults about 1 hour if your good at puzzles or assembling things. Really fun and works. Great project for anyone. The company also sells targets

The wood pieces fit perfectly and the instructions are easy to follow.

Got this for my dad for father's day he put it together and it really shoots the bullets are also big enough that you can pick them up and keep shooting

Sehr empfehlenswerter Bastelspaß für meinen Sohn. Er hat mittlerweile noch ein Maschinengewehr und jetzt noch eine motorgetriebene Murmelbahn gebaut. Klasse und sehr zu empfehlen, gerade für Jugendliche....

It took 2.5 hours to assembly the gun with a dozen wood bullets. The instruction is very clear and easy to follow. The assembling process is fun.Functions pretty well, shoot bullets 4 meters away.Need be careful when pulling the trigger, if pull too hard it might jammed.Will definitely buy some similar wooden toys.

Husband loved building it though it didn't fire the bullets but I think this was more the build, rather than the actual kit.
