I already have another “Flynn and Levy” on my Kindle!
David Delee knows New York, and he knows the inside story of how justice works, and now, so do I! The question is, did I want to. The answer is, the way this author tells it, yes.Frank Flynn and Christine Levy are unlikely partners who suspect each other of murdering a cop. They both have very good reasons for these suspicions, and the reader spends some time wondering who to believe. Flynn and Levy are not just names; their personal lives make them real – two people you come to care about. The three stories comprising Moral Misconduct are full of twists, drama, and violent action that grip the reader to the end.

Abusing authority!
New series. Great read. Several stories in one book about policemen using their authority to abuse are steal from citizens. Cops are human but they are not above the law. We all must answer to A higher power when we do bad thing. Come along with Flynn and Levy as they work though the clues and life changing events.

Three engaging stories, each one better than the last
These three stories are engaging. The two main characters are sharply drawn, and in spite of their flaws, easy to root for. The first story, the shortest of the three, goes by quickly—although it's a little too quick. The two main police officers working the case find out dark things in each other's pasts that could have been drawn out to great satisfaction; the resolution happened too fast for my taste (though that's better than droning on and on). Still, the first story was good enough to keep me reading, and the last story, novella-length and the longest of the three, was also the best. The story had room to layer complexities, which was one of the reasons it was much more satisfying than the shorter pieces. DeLee has great command of the language and of his characters, especially Flynn and Levy, and the longer work really showcases how he can put a plot together effectively. I look forward to reading the next Flynn and Levy book, which is a full novel.

David DeLee is my favorite author of the week!
Flynn & Levi Book 1 was one of the better police procedural novels I have read quite some time. There was nonstop action, police politics, rush to judgement, and a soiled past for both of them. The characters were realistic, and likable the plot was finely spun, with twists and turns in every direction. Great read!
