Great product. Works as expected, and easy to install. Provides the peace of mind you want in cold winters that you can, or it will with it's leak sensors, shut off the water remotely if you ever encounter a water leak while you are away.

So far, so good. And now I don't worry about water leakage in my house, especially when we are traveling. When we switched insurance companies, we were asked for proof of a household automatic water shut off valve. Never having had one before, I went into research mode and came across this YoLink product. I love that it can work on battery backup and does not need the internet. Installation (even in my crawl space) was pretty easy. Just remove your ball valve handle, place the unit over the shutoff valve and tighten everything up. I placed a sensor in the crawl space, under sinks, and next to the water heater. I tested it several times over the next couple of weeks and it worked flawlessly to cut the water to the whole house. Money well spent!

This product worked as advertised. It was easy to set up in just a few minutes and the result is having remote control of the water flow into my house as well having the ability for automatic shutoff in the event of a leak while the house is not occupied. Absolutely worth the investment!

Love this YoLink kit. Well designed, easy to install, robust app and protocals make this a no brainer set up for leak detection and water main shut off.

key features: 1. water main valve actuator- I did not have to do any plumbing, just remove the handle and connected the actuator. 2. connected up the wiring and it was ready. took about 2 hours from start to finish. 3. free app is easy to use, connects to the "cloud" and connects the actuator and sensors easily. 4. water sensors programmed into the app easily, then was able to program the valve actuation on a water sense for each. 5. i can open and close and monitor from anywhere that has internet. I am very happy with this valve actuator. I had a friend who lived in a condo that the washer hose developed a leak and ran all day ruining the walls in the unit below. she made a claim on her insurance, but what a mess. I am a geek nurd and love this kind of stuff anyhow, i have automation all around my house. I put this on my water main in the basement and put the sensors in the laundry room, basement between the water heater, softener, and furnace. I put the others in the bathrooms and kitchen. i bought mor sensors and linked them into the same valve. I am going to call my homeowners insurance to see if they will give me a discount for haveing this device.

Arrived on time, works fine

Easy to install, works well. It has triggered once accidentally (someone spilled water on the sensor), and was easy to reset manually and via app.

Simple setup, works as advertised. Purchased after washing machine failure. This was super easy to setup and works great. Valve response is pretty quick. Alerts you on your phone and closes the valve automatically.

Easy to install, works excellent!

It's pricey but less expensive than a new basement.
