Easy attached to violin
Very good for tuning the violin.

Compact and easy to use
Easy to tune, compact and straight forward. Not very much attractive Graphical interface but does the job.

Not so easy to clip onto violin
I wanted to use this product for tuning a violin. I found it quite hard to use. Attaching it to the violin was the problem. The spring fastening was so strong that I found it difficult to fit it on without it springing off. The digital display was easy to read and the tuning was accurate.

This is absolutely despicable £28 for a tuner and no battery includedNot acceptable . This tuner is way more expensive than other similar products .

Poor display
This violin tuner has a good mounting position and a decent size display.BUT, it's hard to determine when the instrument is bang in tune. The display shows pale yellow to the left (flat), red to the right (sharp) and white at the centre (in tune). The difference in colour between the pale yellow and white is so slight as to be almost useless. Other (equally accurate) tuners costing a quarter the price will show the centre point in a completely different colour, (eg green) - easy to read at a glance.Another issue: the powerful clamp that allows the tuner to be mounted above the peg box can sometimes squeeze one of the tapered pegs out of position, causing that string to unravel."Professional"? Er, no.
