Excellent product, I keep it on hand all the time.
Indispensable for stopping laddering, fraying, shedding, little dings, securing buttons before they start getting loose. Never in 40-ish years has it damaged any fabric in any way.

Used to reinforce hems & seams on chiffon skirts.
UPDATE: I just bought 2 more skirts & 2 more Fray Checks. I wrote my original review several years ago. I have not had a single issue with the seams & hems I originally treated w/ Fray Check. I wear the skirts several times each summer. I place them in a laundry bag before machine washing & hang drying them. They’ve held up to years of wear & laundering. I recently purchased a blouse w/ decorative strings at the neck. There’s a decorative oval detail at the end of each string. They are wrapped w/ a thread that started fraying after 1 wash. I treaded the ovals w/ Fray Check & they’ve stopped fraying. I was even able to repair the damage. I swear by this product. It has so many uses. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I love wearing maxi skirts & recently purchased 2 from Amazon.Afibi Women Full/Ankle Length Blending Maxi Chiffon Long Skirt Beach Skirt Design J(1)) and N(7). The top layer of the skirts is made from a vibrant, sheer, chiffon material. Each skirt has a knee length liner which is made from a more substantial material. The hems & seams on the chiffon layers are not folded & sewn. They're sewn with a simply machine stitch which leaves a finished edge. But, I think there's a good chance that the material will fray. Maxi skirts tend to sweep the ground or floor & a simple finishing stitch may not be enough to protect the hem of my skirt. Then there's the wear from washing the skirts. I remembered using a similar product many years ago. It could have been the same product. But, I'm not sure. Anyway, I purchased this & treated the seams & hems on both skirts. I was afraid that it would make the material stiffer where applied. I noticed a very slight difference. It was certainly not enough to affect the way the skirts fall or how the seams feel against my legs. I now feel confident that I can wear my skirts w/o worrying about the material fraying. I will update this review with info on how the Fray Checked worked once I've worn & cleaned the skirts a few times.

**My Go-To Product for Stopping Fraying!**
Dritz Fray Check is an absolute lifesaver for my cross-stitch projects! It’s hands down my favorite product to stop fraying on Aida fabric. The clear, liquid seam sealant works like magic, keeping the edges of my fabric neat and secure while also ensuring that thread ends stay in place. What’s even better is that it’s both washable and dry cleanable, so I never have to worry about it coming off after laundering. The professional finish it gives my projects is incredible—no more frayed edges ruining the look of my hard work! I also love that this package comes with two bottles of 0.75 fl oz. each. It’s such a great value to have multiples on hand, especially when I’m working on multiple projects at once. I highly recommend Dritz Fray Check to anyone who sews, quilts, or crafts. It’s a must-have in my toolkit!

Amazing!
Works amazing for managing the frays! It’s transparent for the most part. If you use it on white fabric or super light fabric you can see it. The part that was used in just looks like it’s damp even when dried. But it doesn’t jobs and work great!

Good product
Bought this, along with some fabric adhesive, to repair a couple of sleeping bags. I used it on the edge of the patches to prevent them from fraying. So far so good although I haven't tried washing them yet. No noticeable discoloration after it's dry.

Perfecto para arreglar deshilachados, el two-pack puede ser demasiado porque sólo necesitas unas gotas.

this is great, as it stops things from fraying. I wouldn't recommend for simply putting on something like a moth hole tho, as it dries slightly dark and hard - same as if you applied super glue to fabric. I use it where seams are tight, but remain hidden to stop stitches pulling out, or where twist locks are inserted and the fabric has to be cut to accommodate.

Brilliant product. Does exactly what it says and a little goes a long way.
