I did a fair bit of research before choosing the AZATOM AUDIO DAB radio/cd player. Something for the kitchen so that I can play my cds when I'm ironing or cooking. Not a fan of in-the-slot cd players - they are prone to get cds stuck! This fitted the bill nicely. Someone commented on the "flimsy" cd tray; it is if you're planning to TRAMPOLINE on it! The most important thing for me is the SOUND. I took a gamble on a make I'd never heard before but, THE SOUND IS INCREDIBLE. Not just for cds but for also for DAB radio. I ordered the sound system at 8am Saturday morning, it arrived 4pm the same day! These are my favourite features: 1. Superb, superb sound, 2. In/out CD TRAY, 3. All-in- one system, 4. Beautiful, ergonomic design - just a wipe over needed. Less likely to attract dust, 5. When you turn off the plug, then put it back on the cd/ radio goes back to the LAST station/track played, 6. Volume 10 is loud enough for enjoyable listening, 7. British Company, 8. DAB radio has masses of stations - just turn it on and the player searches for them. 9. Crisp, clear DAB radio, 10. An amazing, amazing price! Sellers no longer have the luxury of buyers coming into the shop, listening, then saying "I'll take it!" That is WHY this system is ridiculously cheap. The market place is totally different from yesteryear. But, please don't be put off by that. The AZATOM AUDIO system delivers in every way. I heartily recommend it. Edit: since this first review I have enjoyed listening to Bluetooth. You have to turn the volume high but the quality, if not as good as a cd, is still very good. Nice looking cd radio. Good price. It has good quality feel and works well. Nice sound , size and easy to setup and clean. Comes with remote and cd’s are easy to put in and take out. Well pleased

I've had this for five months now. We mostly use it for listening to DAB radio in the kitchen, but also the odd CD, and podcasts streamed via Bluetooth. I found it straight forward to set up, easy to use, and am happy with the sound and balance. The overall functionality is good and it's very good for the price. It also looks more expensive than it is. The only downside is that as we live in the countryside we get power cuts when the grid reroutes our electricity to local urban areas while they fix power lines, etc, and when the power comes back on it automatically wakes up and starts playing DAB radio. That said: it's prompted me to check the fridge and freezer and make sure to get rid of anything potentially spoiled, so perhaps and accidental useful failsafe!

Fantastic dab radio excellent sound quality. I'm very happy with the C100X dab radio very easy to use just switch on and it scans first time for station's I didn't even have to extend the aerial found all stations. Once set up it's very easy to use the remote control is very handy and makes it very simple to find and store your favourites. The sound is fantastic for the size and you have eq presets or user control of the tone. There is a cd player and a option to play from usb drives also a very versatile little system.

I have only had this Clockwork C100X for a few days . I am giving it a five star rating because it is very inexpensive for what delivers. It has all the functions that i require, and are working perfectly. The sound is good . This machine is a secondary means of music and set up in my conservatory. I am finding the display in this area a little dim , but managing. I know it's early days, but so far so good. Perhaps i will give a further review at a later date. I'm not a technical wizard, but i must say, i found it no bother at all to set up and programme.

This Radio CD Player is easy to set up an ideal size and the clarity of sound is easy on the ear. This radio/cd player was a good price and it’s worth every penny. I have still to play cds or use Bluetooth but am happy so far.

Disclaimer: As with other electronics with Taiwanese electronics the sound quality, BT and DAB reception can vary. UPDATE, long term use... What stated below stands true. Good news. No issues with cd bay as long we rely on the eject button to open close Audio quality still remains good when mode is DAB, not great when switching to cd playing. This compact DAB CD player is ideal for home use and delivers on it's promises. DAB The DAB reception, combined with the extended aerial, provides a good and clear sound. It's easy to scan and store preset stations and DAB can be selected as an alarm wake up. CD Seems plastic and slow to respond. Unsure how long it may survive. This appliance is mainly for DAB and frequent cd play isn't it's main purpose. Assuming it works the audio output when reading any cd is very good and crystal clear. Other functions - remote control Honestly I am not using the Bluetooth, as my big/ main speaker receives BT. When tested the BT reception was good and I couldn't spot any issues. The remote control takes a little time to get used and certain tasks are easier via the menu. I like the standby clock that can be set to "analogue" or digital. Speakers In my case I use the headphones' jack and connect to line in into my main speakers. Nevertheless, the speakers are decent, there's no massive sound clarity especially on low volume. I guess for home use they do the job. Frustrations Remote control takes time to get used to, cd loading takes long and sound quality not great on low volume. Taiwanese electronics, what works for me maybe a disaster for you.

This item arrived on time, looks quite stylish and not flimsy. Very easy to set up just plug in and away you go. The sound quality is really good. Only had it a couple of months but so far everything works fine
