Comparable to many of the higher end fitness bands!
I would recommend the Mi Smart Wristband to anyone who is looking to try a new fitness band that is fully functional, for a bargain of a price. The Mi band is great for most ages, as long as the user has access to a cellular phone or tablet to sync information. It fashions a sleek design, coming in multiple different colors depending on the user’s preference. The technology of the band is contained within a small metal piece that can be inserted into different bands depending on the user's style. It is lightweight, featuring a flexible band that does not irritate the skin with movement. It is also waterproof, and the slim design allows for breathability under the area where the band rests. The Mi band has many features and comes with a free app for iPhone as well as Android that allows the user to sync all the data from their band into their mobile phone. The advanced technology in the band allows the user to track the amount of steps taken per day accurately when compared with some of the pricier fitness bands on the market. The Mi band also allows the user to measure heart rate, as well as changes in sleep cycle. In comparison to other bands, the battery life is great. It takes less than an hour to charge and lasts for up to a month without recharging. I received my Mi band on January 29th and had it unpackaged and charged up the same day, and the band still has 76% batter left.My favorite feature of the Mi band is the ability to set vibrations for different notifications. The user can set the band up to vibrate for alarms, reducing the chances that an alarm will go unheard. It also vibrates and lights up during phone calls, differentiating the vibrate from that of the alarm and notifying the user of calls when they are not near their cell phone.Overall, I would highly recommend the Mi band to anyone looking for a product that can give them information to positively impact their well being. I had a hard time finding any negative aspects of the Mi band and have been extremely satisfied with my product..

Does its job
This band does what it supposed to do. It is a step counter only. It also gives you calories burned but I think that function does not work well at all. It also maps out your totals per day across a week and then "reports" how you did for the week. Not a lot of bells and whistles but for some of us that is fine. I did have some trouble setting it up after downloading the app onto my phone. You actually have to go to their website for assistance.

MiBand review
This is a decent product given the price.Battery lasts for a month.Sleep tracker is ok when it works. Quite a few times it'll tell you you slept 3 hours because it thinks you got up at 3am.I have no idea how accurate it is anyway, but I've noted that when it says I got a good night of deep sleep were also the days i felt refreshed and energetic.Step counting is very generous. I've frequently seen it counting steps when i'm just sitting at my desk eating lunch. But you can just set your target number higher. I'm not really sure how much benefit there is to your heart or weight just because you're taking a long walk.I also like the alarm so it can wake me up only, as opposed to a clock alarm that would also wake up my wife.Big problems with the alarm are - the snooze rarely works (and it's supposed to be 10 minutes - which is way too long to snooze :)More importantly, if you change the alarm, it won't take effect till the next day.So if you go to bed late and decide you don't want to wake up 6am the next day, changing it won't do anything for the next morning - it'll still buzz at 6am. Worse it'll take effect for the next day and NOT buzz at 6am. You need to just leave the alarm alone and take it off for the night. For how much it costs, it's fine.

JUST DOES NOT WORK!!!! I bought ...
JUST DOES NOT WORK!!!! I bought this band couple of months ago, tried to pair it with my old HTC android at that time and it would not even pair, but I thought because that the phone was a bit old , so now I changed the mobile phone to brand new Samsung and I paired it...and then had a hard time connecting it , but at last it did connect, but hey...it just wont work!!!!!does not count anything, no steps no sectivity, no sleep tracking, the only thing it does is buzz when there is an incoming call on my mobile..thats all it does...and that is far not the reason I bought this band...unfortunate!!!!that the return policy time has passed along time ago, should have returned it as soon as it did not pair with my HTC mobile!!!!So mainly looking at the reviews you would not know weather you will get lucky with this band or not!!!

happy i made this purchase
Does anyone know what this is? noDo people actually ask me what it is even though everyone and their kids have fitness bands now a days? yesI'm SO glad I got this... not because i needed one of these, but because i didn't. I didn't want to pay a hundred dollars for a band that i was just curious about... i wanted a general idea of how much activity I get (i'm a SAHM) and I wanted to be able to track my sleep and potentially have an alarm to warn me when i should be heading to bed or making dinner.... so that I don't die of starvation or sleep deprivation... which happens to us SAHMs btw.Anyway, the app is a bit difficult to figure out but not that bad, i didn't use any manual so maybe that would have made it easier.it's easy to wear.. i wash my hands with it and it gets wet but i haven't tried to wear it in the shower yet... i don't know if it would take that kind of abuse from getting wet.I use mapmyrun for hiking or walking and this tracks steps darn close to accurate gps.... after almost 3 miles it was off by 0.1 miles according to its' estimate and my gps so for a super cheap band.... DARN GOOD!I love the sleep tracking... even if i get nothing else i tracks how much sleep I get and I can actually tell how stress effects me now! Which is cool.the alarm is good but be aware that it does drain the battery faster.... much faster.

Good value for money.
Using the tracker for 4 days now. Working fine. Light weight. Hardly will notice wearing it even in the sleep. This is an all white led version. I personally like it. Follow the instructions manual when setting up the tracker for the first time. Sleep tracking works only in the night. Accurate detection. Even counts wake up time during the sleep and produces useful data with split bar graph in the Mfit app on smartphone. Steps will be continuously counted. Can be worn on either hand, but specifying the hand in the app is essential. Syncing twice a day is enough. No need to turn on Bluetooth the whole day. Vibration alarm is my favourite feature, which could snooze upto 5 times. Alarm will work even when the bluetooth on mobile is off, though other features like incoming call and message notifications need bluetooth connection continually. All the data can be synced to Google fit and to Shealth too by using health sync app on playstore.Battery life is outstanding. It takes roughly 2 hours to reach 100% from zero. Charging can be done through laptop using the usb connector provided. I believe charge will last upto 20 days with vigorous usage. I have been using it for 4 days with intermittent syncing and turning on all functions. It shows 85 percent still.

Detailed review about the band ;)
I am using this device for more than 2 months. The band looks nice in one way but also far away as compared with another band available in the market as style is considered.Pros:1. The battery life of the band is very impressive as it gives more than 30 days battery backup.2. Most affordable band in for the low budget users.3. Automatic sleep tracker is also impressive as it vibrates at the time set by the user.4. Rubber strip of the band very soft and provides better friction.5. Mi Band app is used to locate the Band when lost if it is in Bluetooth range.6. Charging speed of the band is very fast.Cons:1. Sometimes steps and calories won't match with other.2. In today's time without a screen is not preferable.3. Now it is outdated as a higher model is out with display. For low budget users they can go for this option but if they want to have some extra feature then they can go for other options with little higher budget option. Please hit a Helpful button if you find this review helpful.Or you can comment related to any query or ask a question.

Basic & functional
This is a very basic band that serves its purpose of tracking steps & monitoring sleep. To display the results you need your smartphone. If you require additional features - including telling the time - get a fancier model. One helpful feature is the vibration alert for incoming calls; useful when your phone is on silent mode in your pocket. The review is being updated on 16th September,2017. The unit died today after five months. The rating is being revised downward since it is more cost-effective to spend a little more on a band that lasts for at least a year.

Totally content with the product
A great wearable tech if you're just stepping in the world of fitness devices. It's an entry level device so it of course doesn't do much but whatever it claims it does spectacularly well.Pros:Pretty decent build quality.IP67 certified. So latch it to your wrist and forget unless you want to go diving.Amazing battery life.Light weight and compact.Almost accurate pedometer.Surprisingly well sleep tracking.Cons:No HR sensor (but you can't really complain at this price point)Sleep tracking works only during night hours.I have been using this device for about a week now. And I must say I'm totally satisfied with this product. Worth every rupee! However, this is definitely not the product for you if you're a fitness pro. It's just an entry level device with bare bone functionality.Note: This is an improved version of the original device with single color LED indication and a slightly higher battery life.

Just a toy not more than that. No accuracy
Shows all error steps. Mi fit software is horrible. It shows all wrong readings. The damn thing works only when the mi fit software is on the screen and as soon as the mobile is put in your pocket(without closing the mifit app even) , it does not work. Then when the mifit app is again selected from background it again syncs the data and on it's own adds arbitrarily 200 to 300 steps (Mifit is running in the background but does not sync with the steps automatically. It has to be manually done). This is not more than an expensive toy. Do not go for this if you are really serious for counting your steps and converting it into calories burnt or kgs lost. The mifit app does nothing of the sort, even if i am using a redmi phone.I tried walking 1 km, during that time, we cannot keep the mobile in hand with the mifit application always open. We usually keep it in the pocket while walking. Then the mobile screen s***s off automatically after it's 30 seconds, and when i again activate the screen, selsct the mifit app to come out of the background, then the app syncs with the band and i saw that it shows i have travelled 2.4 kms even though the distance i have travelled is only barely 1 km (I know the distance from my home to the station and it cannot change overnight!) . I do not recommend it to anyone. Many of my friends have asked me about this but i have discouraged them from buying this band because of the above observations. My money is wasted, hope to save yours. Some good and bad things about the band:-Pros1. Built quality is good , can fit snugly on your wrist without getting loosened.2. Sleep data is captured well3. Vibration alert for incoming calls and SMS are good.4. Battery backup is decentcons :-1. Horrible step counting app (Mifit) without which this band has no value2. The 3 leds do not work even if the targets are achieved.3. After every time mifit is synced, the app automatically adds hundreds of steps on some arbitrarily calculated value so accuracy of steps is next to zero. All in all, i would advice you to go for any other international brands which perform at least to the basic functions.
