We have 2 now and they work perfectly
We've got a pair of these at our office and they both work perfectly. We were previously using just the macbook holders where you still had to plug in the cables by hand and it was tedious if they were in an out of meetings where they were constantly unplugging and pluggin back in cables.This dock does that for you, has a nice secure feeling connection and lets us keep those wires neatly tucked away. Yes it's on the pricey side but it's built well and does exactly what you want it to do.

SO SIMPLE AND PERFECT
THIS DOCKING STATION IS PERFECT. WORKS WAY BETTER THAN I COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED.

Worked great for 4 months damages laptop
Worked great and than one day I went to put in my laptop. And it stopped working. Had to plug in my laptop to the usb-c for my screens to work. Not to mention it will damage your laptop sliding it in and out.

Very convenient, short on ports
A must have if you have a home office and also take you MacBook on the road. I don't know why hardware makers seem to struggle including plenty of USB ports, but I do not hold against them. I still have an ugly dongle USB extender to use, but it's still convenient to slide the notebook in place if the dongle is already connected.Great design, looks great on the desktop.

Decent, if you find a good sale price.
This dock is considerably overpriced–but if you wait for a good sale like I did, it does add some convenience to your desktop.If you look at it from a development and build cost perspective, there’s not much there to justify such a high price. R&D and materials would be minimal, just get the measurements right and implement a simple design. There is no power supply, circuitry or coding to impact the build cost, it’s literally just a passthrough device for USB-C and MagSafe charging.It’s a good device, just don’t pay full price. I’m a poet, and I didn’t know I was one.

Good but…
This is a quality item. Well made to be sure. My main complaint is that it doesn’t give you any additional functionality. The dock has 2 usb-c ports just like the laptop. It would have been ideal to build in a few more usb ports and/or an hdmi port.

worked and then quit
product worked great few a while and then just quit working. highly not happy with this as I will have to buy another one
