Excellent, great build quality and works great.
Excellent, build quality is top notch. Easy assembly and fits perfectly on a standard NVME drives. Includes a screw driver and 4 small screws which makes it super easy to assemble. Drive temps are down, and so far I'm loving this unit.

Great on Ps5
I bought this heatsink to upgrade my Ps5 storage, adding 1tb from a WD Black SN 770 m.2 drive, I couldn't be happier with it. I got large-size games installed on that m.2 and I have never faced any issues while loading these games, maps, you name it. Games like GoW Ragnarok, Ghost of Tsushima, WWE 2K25, Spider-man 2, Cyberpunk 2077, among other AAAs. Fits perfectly, quality is TOP NOTCH, though this is a standard on Be Quiet products, quality is: this thing will outlive me for sure, great looking too, in any case you'll be installing it on a motherboard. Huge value for money, specially if you can get it on sale, out of it, still recommended!

Fits perfectly, good value
It fit my double sided ssd. Was worried about clearance since the GPU was right next to it, but it cleared the GPU by a millimeter! Looks sturdy and was easy to install. PCIe 4.0 and 5.0 ssds runs hot. So I wanted to extend the life of the ssd by trying to keep it cool. Overall, I was pleased with this purchase and recommend it to others.

be quiet! MC1 M.2 SSD Cooler Heatsink for Single and Double Sided 2280 modules
I have a TEAMGROUP MP33 256GB NVMe drive installed in a 2U server chassis as a boot drive for my home server/NAS. I recently installed a 3 bay 3.5" HDD hot-swap dock in the 2U case's 2x5.25 optical drive bay, and was curious about temps of the 3x3.5 HDDs I installed, so I downloaded HDDSentinel to check out the temps. The 3.5" HDDs were all running at an acceptable ~30C, but the TEAMGROUP MP33 256GB NVMe drive was showing a frightening operating temp of 50C. I purchased and installed this be quiet! MC1 M.2 SSD Cooler Heatsink, and the temps immediately dropped down to 40C, better but still not great. I reconfigured the BIO fan settings for the 2x80MM cooling fans at the front of the case to run at full speed, and temps dropped another 10C to an acceptable 30C. The heatsink is well made and includes a tiny screwdriver to install it. The 10C drop in temperature is impressive. I docked the review one star for the price - TBH if I had known that the TEAMGROUP MP33 256GB NVMe was going to run so warm, I likely would have spent the additional money I shelled out to add the heatsink to get a better NVMe drive that perhaps includes its own heatsink or overall just runs cooler. The heatsink has peel-and-stick thermal pads on both the top and bottom of the NVMe drive, so it is a "one use" item, meaning if you end up removing the heatsink, it likely won't stick too well to another NVMe drive - I saw some complaints about that in other reviews, unwarranted IMO. This is a well made and effective item.

Works well
Work well for gen 4 ssd, the factory heatsink was too tall, this allows some cooling atleast.

Great heatsink
Ininstalled this be quiet heatsink to 1 of my ssd cards which didn’t have a heatsink and it’s doing the job. The temp dropped 4 degrees while on idle after installing the heatsink which was very easy to install.

Absolutely works!
I installed this on my secondary NVME since my primary had a heatsink that was part of my motherboard. Before installing this heatsink, I would routinely see 10-15C deltas from the primary drive (with heatsink) to this drive (without heatsink). After installation, its dropped at least 10C off my idle temps, and roughly 10-15C off loaded temperatures. Now temps are right in line for both drives. If you want to prolong the life of your NVME, I highly suggest getting a heat sink. The BeQuiet unit her was a breeze to install, and was happy it came with its own thermal pads and a screwdriver for installation. 100% would buy again, and I should have bought this sooner.

What a nice product. Easy to follow instructions and screwdriver that works for full installation process in a PS5 provided. My Crucial SSD fit perfectly in this, which had no issues fitting in PS5 (and you can replace the PS5 SSD cover on top should you wish to). The screws to secure the heatsink are tiny, but work in a bright environment, and magnetised to provided screwdriver, and you should have no issues. I like that they are packaged in a compartment behind tape, it's little touches like this that make sure nothing goes missing. Drive works OK with no overheating, though I'd expect it to anyway - however other reviews here shows it is effective in keeping temps down. For a similar price to many cheaper products, provided with rubber bands and the like, this is way better and still provided at a good price. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased a new Samsung SSD and I also needed a reliable Cooler. I decided to complete my setup with the be quiet! MC1 SSD Cooler, a product designed to tackle the heating issues of M.2 2280 single and double-sided modules. The brand promises not only enhanced performance but also a seamless integration into any PC build, courtesy of its minimalist design and renowned be quiet efficiency. Upon receiving the package, the first thing that struck me was the attention to detail in the packaging. The cooler was securely encased, with clear instructions ( Even if instructions are really not necessary as there’s only one way to mount it and you cannot do it wrong even if you try :-D ) and all necessary mounting hardware included. The sleek, black design of the cooler itself exuded a premium feel, matching perfectly with my PC's aesthetics. It was love at first sight! So installing the MC1 cooler was a breeze. The build quality was impressive, featuring a solid aluminum heat sink and thermal pads that promised efficient heat dissipation. In terms of performance, the MC1 cooler did not disappoint. I primarily use my setup for gaming and video editing and AI image generations/upsizing etc. , activities that can cause significant SSD heating. Prior to installation, I'd noticed my SSD's performance dipping during extended sessions, likely due to thermal throttling. However, with the MC1 cooler in place, those issues became a thing of the past. My SSD's temperatures dropped significantly, ensuring stable performance even under heavy load. The difference was like night and day, with faster load times and no more fear of data loss or damage due to overheating. Despite all, it's worth noting that its size may pose compatibility issues in tighter builds or when adjacent slots are in use. The peace of mind knowing my SSD is running cool, coupled with the tangible performance improvements, has been a major win. In conclusion, the be quiet! MC1 SSD Cooler has matched my expectations. Its build quality, performance enhancement, and sleek design make it a standout product. While there are minor considerations to keep in mind regarding compatibility and installation, the pros far outweigh the cons. For anyone looking to extend the lifespan of their M.2 SSD and ensure peak performance, I wholeheartedly recommend the MC1 cooler. It's a small investment that delivers significant returns, making it a must-have for any serious PC enthusiast or professional user.
