I bought this with the hope that I could replace a LIRA 008445. This is the Franke equivalent, given that they took over the LIRA branding. I could only buy a LIRA model from Europe, so this is the best alternative. Excellent quality, and has the ball bearing spring to allow you to switch from plugged to draining.

Perfect fit to my 12-year old Franke sink (KS-GEX62OD-LH). World of difference to those low-quality flimsy lightweight generic alternatives, which do not work in the first place. This original strainer is much heavier and sturdy. Hope that it will last me another 12 years!

We have a 22 year old Franke sink and unfortunately this is the second sink stopper we have purchased that still does not fit. It still slowly leaks. Appears to be well made and was delivered quickly but we had to return. Not sure if we’ll ever find the correct part

I used this product in an older sink and it fit perfectly. Great replacement that doesn't leak. Wonderful product. Thanks to Amazon for carrying it!!!

My Franke sink is about 20 years old. Sadly this replacement didn't work. Sink would not hold water...even worse than what I was trying to replace.
