SMARTY 5G/4G Data Sim, Data Deals Unlimited Calls and Texts, NO Credit Checks, NO Contract, Pay when you Activate SIM

I've been a Smarty customer for years now both mobile phones and Internet. We're fortunate that we have a Three (now Vodafone) 5G Mast 110m and visible from the house so get the best signal possible and gave up the BT landline. Combining my phone and internet accounts gets an additional 10% discount and I pay less than £20 /month for both home internet and my phone as a result. We get at times up to 800mb/s download speed and usually above 400mb/s. With the joining of Three and Vodafone the coverage with my phone can't be beaten. Easily the best value available.

I bought one of these dew to reading on their website about being able to get 100 GB of data for £12.00 along with unlimited calls and text however when I topped up then tried using this sim card I was informed that I needed to top up.This company do not have a phone number all you can do is talk to a bot on the chat who informed me I had used all of my minutes and data twenty minutes after fitting the sim and topping up.So I demanded a refund which they promised to give me but so far after three weeks I am still waiting for it.Anyway I have gone back to Lebara they have a telephone service and are honest unlike Smarty.

I bought this sim for 10p and topped up with the £20 unlimited monthly data but the internet is so slow it is almost close to the old dial up speeds when using 4g and 5g. It could just be my area (London) as it says on their website my area has a lot of users. To get a useable internet speed I had to switch my phone to just use 3G.

Update: 7th March '23 ===== Approaching nearly a year since buying my first Smarty SIM for my 4G router and things are still going strong - so much so that I have now persuaded and added my husbands smartphone to our Smarty Group Plan recently. That means more group discounts for our household, woo hoo! Husband saves money on his monthly bills compared to his previous network provider, and the monthly price for unlimited data on our router has dropped <£18 (Smarty RRP £20p/m). Winner winner! Update: 27th Sept '22 ===== Really happy with the service and VfM from Smarty. So much so, I've also left Tesco Mobile I've been with on my phone for 14 years and bought an additional SIM from Smarty to put in. As a result, I get a group discount and I save money on my monthly contracts. Before, I was paying too much with Tesco and never getting through all my bundle of calls, data and texts. With Smarty, there are more competitive and smaller bundles to meet my needs. Ported my number over which took 4 days in total since it was over a weekend. Number porting usually happens in 24 hours on working days. Brill! ======== Original Review ======== Bought this SIM to compliment our new 4G Router. ̶ ̶F̶o̶r̶ ̶£̶2̶0̶ ̶p̶e̶r̶ ̶m̶o̶n̶t̶h̶, £18 p/m (we get a discount in our Group Plan), I get unlimited everything with it, plus there's no throttling of data! Brilliant as my household gets through a lot of data with streaming YT, Amazon Video as well as all the social media bumf that goes with it. Also unlimited calls and texts from my router too. Most SIMs are plug and play in 4G Routers, but I find with MVNOs like Smarty or GiffGaff, you have to go into the APN settings of your router and change it to your network provider from there, and it works flawlessly from then on. BT Broadband and Phone are getting the axe very soon, they're far too expensive for what I receive, which is frankly, dire. There's so much more competition out there now from mobile network providers... You're daft to stick around with Dated BT.

So grateful to have been able to order this from Amazon and receive it the next day as I was having issues with my current network provider. Being that I ordered it on a Saturday and got it on Sunday, was absolutely brilliant as I'd have had to wait a few days if I ordered directly from Smarty. I was a bit worried that I might not get 5g or that it wouldn't get a 5g signal on my Pixel phone as that was a problem previously but it works flawlessly. I only had to pay 15p to get this as well so that was pittance!

Ich war so naiv es zwei mal zu probieren, weil ein Fehler bei der Zahlung kam. Angeboten werden Kreditkarte und PayPal. PayPal geht generell nicht, die Kreditkarte akzeptiert er. dann kommt eine Fehlermeldung dass "irgendetwas" schief gegangen sei. Ich hab es 2 mal probiert, 2 mal der Fehler. Und dann kam von der Bank die Info dass Smarty UK 2 mal abgebucht hat. Account wurde wegen des Fehlers nicht erstellt, der Kundendienst ist in 4 minuten erreichbar laut eigener Aussage. Ich kann bestätigen dass er zwar erreichbar ist aber die Nachrichten natürlich nicht beantwortet. Ich muss jetzt über die Bank die Zahlungen anfechten. Danke.

Pour activer la SIM c'est impossible de plus un site ou rien n'est écrit en français. Ne perdez pas vos centimes pour cette bricole.
