This belt is awesome!It is very simple in design. The buckle is a single piece of aluminum with some slots cut into it. The nylon strap has a plastic end piece molded into it on one end. It uses friction to stay snug, and it does a good job as I've not had any issues with it coming loose.I got the all black one, and the buckle has a very nice brushed black anodized finish. The thickness is just right - thin enough to be comfortable, but thick enough to be sturdy. I measured it at 1/8" thick.The nylon strap is great. Very sturdy at 1/12" thick. Has no stretchiness that I've noticed, but is rigid enough to maintain its shape and not fold over onto itself. Its probably one of the nicest nylon straps that I've seen and I have around half a dozen nylon belts from over the years.I will note that the belt isn't as easy to take off as it is in the video. I haven't been able to do it with just my thumb. With that said, it is still pretty easy to take off, but it does take 2 hands: 1 to tilt the buckle and the other to pull the nylon strap.Overall, I love this belt. Its very durable, very comfortable, and easy to adjust. It might be my new favorite belt. Its between this one and the Groove Life belt. The Groove Life has stretchy nylon, which is nice and a magnetic buckle that makes it super easy to buckle and unbuckle. This Grip6 belt is easier to adjust and more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Both are awesome and made in USA.

I bought this belt primarily because I wanted a nice, reliable, high-quality piece of kit that was made in the USA. I try to buy as much stuff that's made in the USA as possible and I'll even pay a premium to do it. I broke a made-in-China ratchet belt a few weeks ago and sought to find a replacement. I really liked the idea of the Grip6 belt. It's definitely high quality and has good design and craftsmanship. It's presented simply and is well thought-out. It looks understated and is crazy lightweight. But I didn't keep it and returned it because it's... fussy. I literally wore it for 10 minutes and tried to acquaint myself with the unorthodox clasp/clamp/friction mechanism before I realized that I didn't want to "learn" how to wear a belt. Don't get me wrong here; it's a great idea and for a ton of people it's probably awesome, but I did not find it easier, faster, or more convenient than a ratcheting belt. When I undo my belt I want it to come off quickly and cinch down as fast. I didn't want to have to re-train my brain to do a belt a different way, so it just isn't for me. I'm not a jerk and I'm not going to give a single star because I didn't like the ONE THING this belt is TOTALLY DESIGNED TO DO. It gets 4 stars from me because it's a great piece of kit, but it's not the right thing for me. Sorry Grip6. Make a ratcheting belt in USA and I'll buy it.

Es tal cual lo que ofrece, diseño minimalista, básico, cumple con su función, es muy fácil de usar y no necesita nada en especial. He visto otros reviews y la verdad no veo como se les complica usar algo tan sencillo. Cómpralo, no te vas a arrepentir, 100% recomendado

Der Gürtel verkörpert mit dem stufenlosen Verstellen eine gut Idee, die aber besser als bei vielen "Military"-Gewebe-Gürteln umgesetzt ist. GRIP6 macht mit der "Mechanik" ohne bewegliche Teile und der sauberen, exakten Ausführung ihrer Gürtelschließen einen sehr guten Job. Kann man absolut weiterempfehlen. Schön wäre es, wenn sie - auch auf Amazon - ihre Set-Angebote hätten.

I'll likely never go back, except for when needs something for formal attire, that's I think the only fault of this belt, the nylon is great for most professional environments, but it doesn't lend itself to formal wear, or dress pants very well, in my opinion.The friction clip lock is awesome, and let's you adjust to exactly where you want it to be, It's like a ratchet but better, there's no set spacing, you can adjust by mm if you want. Traditional belt, you're only able to choose from the pre-punched holes. This is actually adjustable to you.No stretch, leather belts, while i agree are BIFL, stretch, maybe it's a me problem, or I'm relying on them to hold up my pants too mush, but i would get stretching around the belt-holes. None of the issue here, maybe a small impression on the nylon where the you have it set on the friction-lock. Faint though.The different style clips, took me a few days to get used too, maybe don't hold it until you're rushing to get to a washroom. I fumbled for about a week, after years of one-handed undoing of the traditional buckle. I'm back to no issue again though, after about a week I'm one hand certified again and if I'd like it quite snug a second hand to help tighten it up.Final note, I happen to be working on dropping a couple lbs. when i purchased this, what a great belt for weight lose, it just adjusts with you, and is great when you're are in-between sizes and the current size is a little too loose.No picture added, belt is as new, and I think their modelling photos will outshine what I might share.
