Braun MQ9199XL MultiQuick 9 Hand Blender with Imode Technology

Love this one so much!! Constantly making peanut butter, smoothies, cutting veggies and many more! Very powerful, but can overheat if using non stop. But worth the money 100%

I had been wanting a immersion/hand blender for a long time. I had a food processor and a hand mixer which I gave away and replaced with this. It is amazing. It pulverizes vegetables with ease and chops nuts to perfection. You have to watch what your doing or you will turn what you are chopping into dust. It is effortless. Easy cleanup. Most of all it's safe to use. Highly recommend!!

The Braun MQ9199XL MultiQuick 9 Hand Blender has exceeded my expectations. Its powerful 700-watt motor and ActiveBlade technology make blending tasks effortless, even with tough ingredients. I particularly appreciate the variety of attachments, which have made it easy to tackle everything from smoothies to soups. Cleanup is straightforward, and the build quality feels solid and durable. This is fabulous. I bought the 5 cup pitcher as an accessory and was able to give away my food processor since this comes with a 2 cup container and an 8 cup container you can chop or blend in. The 5 cup pitcher for me replaces a 4 cup one that I would use in my food processor. It’s a smaller footprint, easier to clean, and feels heavy. It has a fabulous safety feature so you don’t take off fingers with the immersion blender. I will say for smaller hands it is a little awkward to use but I will accept that given its outstanding features. It feels just slightly less powerful than my original food processor but I honestly don’t need a lot of power too often. Besides, given the convenience of this I will reach for this far more often than my food processor.

Overall this is product is good and has replaced few of the bulky items in my kitchen like the vitamix. After almost 6 months of using here is what I think: First and most importantly, I don't understand why this product is sold at a much higher wattage in Europe than it is in the US. This would've been a perfect product if I can get the same 1200 watts available elsewhere, Blending soup feels clunkier than other hand mixers. I had a kitchenaid before and felt this process was easier and faster, cutting through ice is very easy and it makes good shaved ice. The fact that it is dishwasher safe is a plus. I don't understand the point behind the potato masher, to me this was a waste and I could've done without. Accessories are not sold separately. I am not sure what to do when the blade I am using now goes dull. Additionally, I wanted to buy other accessories like the food processor attachment because I was so impressed with the product, but I was not able to find it, although it seems that it used to be sold independently before, so I wonder if the product is being discontinued. I definitely recommend the product but I would definitely look into whether or not Braun wants to continue to sell it before making the investment,

More expensive than the cheap model of a competitor's popular model we previously had, but what a difference. This one has Low / High / Pulse general settings, but then a variable speed trigger within those ranges. That part was a little confusing to me. The motor part comes off the business end with two simple push buttons that work properly - not a twisting connection. This model also has the blades that push down to the bottom of the cup to get to everything. Bottom line - it all works together like you would expect, with plenty of power and no bogging down. More expensive, and well worth the price for a tool that is a pleasure to use. Highly recommended. I wouldn't consider other models and would buy it again in a flash.

I was looking for a way to plastic-free my blending, and this + a 1l tall Weck jar was the ticket. The wand fits perfectly inside with room to move, but can still blend the entire contents in a column. This might have a small bushing/seal or something still behind the blade (I can't see it too well) but that's the smallest amount of plastic in any blending solution that I have been able to find. As far as I'm aware, the blender is also lead-free per Tamara Rubin's testing. I stand the motor and the main blending wand up on a small tray so they take up minimal counter space. It has plenty of power to blend my morning shakes, easily pulverizing the cacao nibs I add. The wand and whisk are super easy to clean as well. The whisk is nice too. It connects to a plastic-geared housing, so it seems light duty. But for eggs it works. The only downside is that it comes with all these other accessories that I don't really need. I have no real interest in using the food processor or potato masher attachments as they're excessive amounts of plastic. But I suppose it's handy to have just in case?

This set does it all from blending to dough kneading. Motor is surprisingly strong.

I love the ability to make soups, mash potatoes, grind spices and creat many different dishes with the help of my immersion blender. I highly recommend it.

La amo Se trabaja muy fácil me ha costado trabajo armarla aún no me acostumbro pero en si ya cuando recuerde como se arma voy a ser imparable. Lo que no me gustó es a la hora de que dejó de picar el jitomate los pellejos del tomate no se retiran, cuesta mucho trabajo limpiar la de ese modo

It's an awesome appliance—everyone should have one in their kitchen! It's powerful and does half the work for you. I use it daily, and it saves a lot of time when cooking. It's absolutely indispensable. I highly recommend it!

I needed to replace my old braun multi mix set ( 20 + years old) . I felt it was worthwhile to invest in a more powerful unit such as this. The safety lock takes a bit of getting used to. The immersion blender is effective and it is easy to clean. I really like the potato masher too! I used the wire whisk accessory and it really is very light duty. It does not do teh job of beaters, so if you need to mix batter or cream sugar and butter, do not throw away your electric mixer ! I kept mine and glad I did.
