I’ve had two of these lamps for six years, and they’re the only LED lamps I have that haven’t started to flicker or flash within a short amount of time or hurt my eyes in some ways The light feels broad and steady unlike most LED lamps; it almost feels incandescent. It’s *great* light for drawing and writing. The quality and stability of the lamp pole are poor - one of my lamps leans at a noticeable angle after having been moved a few times - but I am still giving five stars because the quality of the light is so good (as long as they haven’t changed the LEDs in that time).

I needed a replacement light after my Ottlite stopped working after having it for quite a few year. It was a great light, but this time I didn't want to spend over $100 to get a new one. So I bought the less expensive Brightech light. This light looks very similar to the Ottlite, which I wanted. It's nice and bright, and you can cycle through to different light intensities as well. This was not a feature I necessarily wanted, but now that I have it, it's nice to have. The light has a very solid and heavy base, so it will not tip over easily. It was easy to put together. It took about 15 minutes. The only issue I have with it is how the light and the 3 metal poles attach to the base. You screw the last pole onto a collar that attaches to the base. It's not as sturdy and solid as I would like it to be. For that I could only rate this as 4 Stars.

This Brightech Litespan Slim LED Floor Reading Lamp works great for my wife's cross-stitch work. And it is easy to use as well as giving off a nice usable bright lighting pattern without flooding the entire room with light.

I am a quilter and machine embroiderer so I need good light. I've owned the other brand name lamp for years and have not been happy with for a number of reasons, i.e. tipping over easily, (which caused the light tube to break and that was shockingly expensive to replace), it got hot, angling the light was difficult and, frankly, it was butt ugly. So I took a chance and ordered this lamp and am so happy I did. This lamp is amazing. I'm in HOG HEAVEN! It is well weighted and balanced so it doesn't tip over and it is easy to move around. The assembly was easy, just feed the wire from the lamp head through the tubes Connect the tubes as you go, and at the very bottom you connect the wire (like a phone plug) and undo one screw, put the tube on the base, line up the holes and put the screw back in. So all you need is a small Phillips screw driver. E-a-s-y. Be sure to read the back of the instruction sheet because it tells about the light operation. It has three light types: full spectrum, soft white, and bright white. Each one can be dimmed to your liking. The flex neck adjusts easily. The lamp itself is a really light gray and darker gray neck. Very nice in any decor. The lamp head stays cool so you do too. When I first saw the lamp head I was concerned that it wasn't big enough to give off enough light. No worries! It gives off tons of light, perhaps more than the larger head of my old lamp. There are very few products that I am really impressed with and this lamp is one of them. Highly recommend.

This lamp is easy to assemble and reasonably priced. It has a lot of great features. I like that it has four variations of white light and that it has stepless dimming. It is excellent for reading fine print and doing craft work. I also am pleased that with its flexible neck it can be turned to face upward to light the ceiling and thus flood in the entire room with extra light when that option is desired. The yellow power button stays lit when the lamp is off so that it can be found in the dark. The only thing it lacks is a remote control which some of the other LED lamps do have. For some reason these LED lamps are equipped with thin delicate cords on heavy plugs so I got cord protector for both my lamps. Am so glad to finally have good lighting. This really fills the bill.

Excellent for indirect lighting (off ceiling or wall), very flexible neck. My only complaint -- I would prefer soft white to daylight white.

Straightforward, easy to assemble. Colour of the "white" lamp itself is more like a light gray. Brightness of the lamp is just as expected, varying between bright/soft/warm and dimmable for each level. Not as bright as a daylight lamp but definitely bright and much much cheaper than a daylight lamp. Shorter than most floor lamps, but this works great for shining directly at your workspace or desk or craft area, instead of towards the roof. I have a very dark corner needing to get brightened up and this is easily maneuvered for optimal placement. First photo is lamp on the brightest white setting, second photo is the lamp off.

This lamp was delivered a week early, which impressed me and so did the lamp which I needed for my new downsized quarters in a seniors’ residence. It goes together quite quickly and the hardest part was threading the wires down each tube before screwing in the next one. I use this light for my portable art table and then swivel it around for my recliner reading lamp. A nice bright white light, but I find the switch irritating although I can live with it. A simple on/off switch would have been preferable to this temperamental sometimes on and sometimes off switch. You never quite know how many times to push the button to get what you want. That said, this is an ideal lamp at a competitive price.
