Pill is large, but smooth and not hard to swallow. I'm in my 70s and have taken Caltrate for a long time . NO BONE LOSS! I'm staying on it for life!

Works very fast
Has been effective for me, I purchased these because I had a bad tooth abscess underneath my bottom 2nd molar that was not visible to the eye. I went to the dentist for a cleaning and found out the terrible toothache I had a year prior was caused by abscess. Unfortunately it caused bone loss underneath the gum so I needed a bone graft in order to get an implant in the future to replace the tooth extraction. I have noticed the graft is adapting fast, and am unrelated benefit is my usual knee cracking has stopped.

On doctor's advice.
I needed to take extra calcium; my doctor didn't recommend, he specified CALTRATE. I was told it was available "off the shelf" and I was not given any second or third choice. I was simply told "Get Caltrate."
