2 Pieces Kitchen Tweezers, Fish Bone Tweezers Set, Stainless Steel Flat and Slant Tweezers Pliers Remover Tool, for Debone Salmon Bass

When I saw the inexpensive price for this item I was leery, but when I saw all the positive reviews I was very hopeful that I would get a usable set of tweezers. However, that was not the case. The jaws of the tweezer are nowhere near aligned. They are either bent so that when one part of the jaw makes contact there is a significant gap at the other end of the jaw, or the arms are offset so that only a portion of one jaw makes contact with the other. Both tweezers are bent or distorted to the point that they are really unusable. I’m sure with some effort I could bend them and make them work, but if the metal is so soft that I can bend it then I doubt that it’s going to retain its shape. I did see a previous review that showed how the tweezers bent when they were squeezed. I should’ve known when I saw that review what I was getting, but as I said, I was hopeful. Anyway these go in the trash and I’ll buy a higher quality product. I definitely do not recommend this item.

I got these because I was tired of running into pin bones when I got a whole salmon, and my pliers are multi-use so I didn’t really feel great about using them, and I didn’t want the joint to rust washing them all the time. These are giant tweezers and they grip those bones just fine. Use your whole hand to grip them (not just your fingers) and like any tweezers, be sure to grip the bone right at the surface of the meat.

These are top-quality easy to use tweezers. They work great to pull bones in fish, and also to get slivers out of your finger. By far the most precise tweezers I've ever used - and they are cheap! Great value.

I actually ordered this after receiving a Whole Foods order of sea bass that was full of bones. These are great. Usually you only need them to puck out an occasional bone, but in the instance that the seafood counter did nothing, you'll be prepared with these.

Great product, but just can’t use for more than a minute. It’s so sturdy, it takes a lot to pinch the tweezers; tires out my fingers/hand.
