This birdcage is the roomy new home for my Goffin's cockatoo. The cage was delivered in two boxes, making the total weight easier to manage. Assembly of the cage was straightforward, especially with a second person to help hold the biggest pieces together, until they can be attached with screws. Except for the food-catching skirt, the screws went smoothly and solidly into threaded sockets on the connecting cage sections. The food catching skirt was attached with small nuts and bolts. One of the cage bars was slightly bent when I opened the box, but was relatively easy to straighten with a pliers and it has not been a problem. In addition to the front spring latch, there is a back-up piece of metal at the top of the door, which must be held open at the same time the main door latch is pulled back, to ooen the door. My bird is a master at opening cage latches, and this back-up closure has kept her inside the cage, but it is still easy enough for me to take her out. She has now used this cage for almost a month. So far, all of the parts have been fairly easy to wipe clean. The bottom pan and the food-catching skirt are especially smooth and are easily cleared of droppings. The cage came with one long wooden perch and two stainless steel food bowls, along with the hardware necessary to install the food bowls on each side of the cage. There are small doors that can be opened right over each of the food bowls, to make access easy. Overall, this is a nice cage for my medium-sized bird.

Lovely and elegant, the little things have been considered in its design. Relatively easy to assemble, good quality with easy maintenance features. It has numerous doors and bowls, easy to clean trays, and double latch for the entry door to make sure it stays secure. Advise you to get more perches and stronger tools than comes with them. Instructions are typically sketchy but they suffice. The birds are delighted as am I. Thank you.

This is one heck of a deal. Beautiful and spacious, well designed, and a wonderful home for my Goffin's Cockatoo. The instructions could be much better, but assembly wasn't too difficult. Make sure you order additional perches and toys for your bird. As a cage goes for a bird this size, it is tough to beat.

This would be great cage but the screws came already stripped. The holes also don’t aligned together. Some of the holes the screws would go in were partially covered as shown in the picture provided. Instruction are also not the clearest but it’s not hard to figure out. Great size and nice looking cage.

It’s a good cage for the price point. Even though it’s advertised for larger birds, I would absolutely NOT put a large macaw, large cockatoo, or any particularly powerful chewer in this cage. Pros: nice size for medium-sized birds. Our grey has been in one for at least the 7 years we’ve had her, and our amazon is the recipient of this new cage. The bar spacing is appropriate, the feeder dish options are nice (we use the “nesting box” door for a treat cup), the powder coating is decent, the features (grate, pan, cup guards) are well thought out. Since our grey has been in one of these for so long, I can definitely say it lasts and is easy to clean. It’s also simple to put together. Cons: this isn’t for jumbo parrots. The bar gauges are too small, and the welds too fragile for a power chewer. The latches will be fine for most birds, but if you have an escape artist, they’ll probably figure it out. The main door latch has been changed over the years. It’s very sturdy on our grey’s cage (Kings cage style), but very flimsy on our amazon’s cage (an attempt at A&E style, but far more fragile). The instructions don’t tell you which screws go where, but there’s another review here that breaks it down perfectly. Also, some parts of the cage (bottom tray holder, one of the cup guards) arrived bent in the packaging. Easy to bend back, but again, don’t put your super big bird in it. I did NOT install the seed guard so I can’t comment on that. Overall, it’s a very good cage for the price, but don’t expect top quality. I’m happy with it.

Overall this is a nice cage for the price. Metal is nice and sturdy. My yellow-naped amazon has pleanty of room to stretch his wings and play with his toys. There are pleanty of doors for food. The top opens up nicely, but the snack bowls that come with it do not fit appropriately and they can fall out very easily. The instructions that come with the cage are terrible but I was able to figure it out. I took 2 people to put it together. The worst part was that there were several bent pieces, especially at the bottom where the tray slides in. Also had to force some of the srews in because the holes were too small. The cage is delivered in two seperate boxes. One is super heavy. I attached a few photos for reference. If there were no bent parts, I would give it a 5.

I love it! Had no problems putting it together. Its heavy duty metal , doors work well and lock well, shipped quick, comes with a heavy duty wood perch which was a huge plus! I definitely would buy it again if I needed one.
