Vintage Tradition Totally Unscented Tallow Balm, 100% Grass-Fed, 9 Fl Oz"The Whole Food of Skin Care"

I've struggled with eczema my entire life, particularly the last two years. While I continue to search for causes and triggers, this tallow balm is absolutely the best way to cope with the flare ups. I've tried Eucerin, Aquaphor, Vaseline, Skin Food, shea butter, almond oil, coconut oil, vitamin E oil, and argan oil--tallow balm works far better than all of them and is way less greasy. It's also light enough to use on my face. I don't really write reviews on here, but I love this product so much, and I hope others with skin problems find out about it because it has been a lifesaver. As a matter of fact, my PCP actually was the one who recommended it.

This tallow is pure and works amazing. It's pricey but lasts a long time and is definitely worth the money.

We bought this at the recommendation of a nutritionist. It was recommended as a high-quality, natural products that would help keep our little man's eczema at bay. And it absolutely does! We went with the Totally Unscented, instead of Almost Unscented, just because his skin is sensitive. The Totally Unscented, kind of smells like old leather. It's not my favorite smell, but it fades quickly upon application. And its EXTREMELY moisturizing - can't be beat there! It is fairly solid - our house is usually about 70 - and takes a little work to rub in, but it goes very quick. Grandpa likes to put a small amount in a glass dish on the stove for a few seconds just to warm up. As little man needs it on his face (and everyone knows how much wee people love have their face wiped in any manner) heating it up makes it WAY easier to get on him. Overall, this is an extremely expensive, but extremely high-quality product. We've pitched every other lotion in our house and are soleing using this for the whole family. Dad uses it after a shave, I use it for hands and face, and Bear just uses it all over!

I have plaque psoriasis on my hands [dorsum area]. I have used many many products but nothing worked as good as this one. God bless the makers. people who do not suffer from psoriasis have no idea of the suffering. My hand used to gets dry every few minutes and I would use many diff oils. My husband felt so bad for me that he decided to research and came across vintage traditions. They are also highly recommended by Weston A Price. Since the very first application, I felt the diff. My skin relaxed right away. More than moisturizing, it seems to just calm my skin and heal it from within. The perfect blend of tallow and olive oil is so so beneficial for psoriatic skin. If you want extra moisture then I highly suggest you first use this tallow cream, massage it and then use any [oil based] balm on top. I prefer honest all-purpose balm. Another winner. However, honest APB was not doing the job alone. Its only after I started using this unscented tallow that I felt relief. You guys must try this. I can't recommend this product highly enough, it has been a real life-saver for me. I have very sensitive skin and have been struggling for quite a while with some really bad eczema. Whenever my eczema flares up it leaves me with large patches of super dry, damaged, scaly skin that just wouldn't heal with the other moisturizers I've tried. I used to have to get prescription steroid cream from the doctor to clear it up, but then my mum discovered vintage tradition and told me to try it. Now I just apply this balm twice a day to the damaged skin and it's perfectly moisturized, soft, and healed again in the span of two or three days. I use the unscented kind because I have so many skin allergies that I didn't want to chance having a reaction to something in the balm, but honestly the unscented balm smells SO good - kinda mildly sweet and yummy.Eczema aside, this balm is great for any dry or damaged skin, and I use it on my lips and face every day - the skin on my face is so much smoother and clearer now. You don't have to apply a lot for it to be effective, so a jar of this lasts a long time, and you really only have to put it on once a day and it'll keep your skin feeling awesome all day. It doesn't feel greasy or sit on top of your skin and get on stuff.What else can I say, this balm is awesome, definitely get it and try it out if you haven't already.

I have used every scent of the tallow balm and I absolutely love them. But this one is perfect for my baby's sensitive skin since it is completely unscented. It works like a charm for her eczema.

I tried this on my face for almost a week and it's made me break out like crazy. I think it may be the olive oil..i don't know

I love this product. It moisturizers really well without feeling greasy and absorbs nicely. My skin seems to do better with this tallow balm than with plant based natural moisturizers. I used the unscented version during pregnancy and I use it on my son now (he's 17 months) and when he was an infant. No need to reapply more than once a day. It lasts a long time!
