Exact replacement for my original, which after several years malfunctioned and would no longer work. It was easy to install (power turned off, of course) and works great!

Absolutely wonderful! I purchased a fabulous whole house fan by Quiet Cool, worth every penny after my experience with others. So I made the mistake of trying to buy a timer on the cheap, which broke after a week. After research on wattage, amps, etc, I found this timer is the exact same timer Quiet Cool and Home Depot sells but less than half half the cost! Add free delivery (I ordered books) by Amazon and even better. Installation by my contractor was easy for him, and I love it! I use it in conjunction with another switch that controls hi/lo/off. Now I am in total control, cannot hear my new fan, can go to sleep while enjoying the fresh cool night air being drawn in, and knowing my fan will dependably shut off while I'm sleeping sweet dreams. This switch sure creates a sweet life! Thank you Intermatic and also this seller for making a difference in my world.

This is an identical replacement to one I installed 10 years ago. More years would always be better, but this is absolutely acceptable.

I was able to install this timer in just a couple of minutes. It worked as expected and all wires were long enough and no problems installing it and the 1/2/4/8 hour timers seem to work. No problems. I would buy this again. Very easy install. I installed this for the Quiet Cool fan and when I called the company who installed my fan told me it would be a $295 charge to come out and install the timer I told them no and just did it myself and very glad I did.

I love these timers and have one in each bathroom (for the fan) (10, 20, 30, 60 minute), one on the ceiling fan (1, 2, 4, 8 hour), and one for the whole house fan (also 1,2,4,8 hour). These are the best "set and forget" timers I've found! I even have one on the ceiling light in the bedroom. The only problem I've had with one of them is that the electrical box was not deep enough... the box had to be replaced with a deeper box, a problem on a pre-wired house! So far, I have not had a timer (I've used several over the years) fail! (I've also used a LOT of other Intermatic timers and they are my "go to" timer company.) If you need a count-down timer for switching something off after a given time, I highly recommend these. There are four different time ranges that I'm aware of.

Worked great until it completely stopped working. We thought we had a short or something but we had to put our old switch back on because this one stopped working. Purchased end of March and it is now beginning of June. Absolutely Ridiculous.

This does not sit in the wall outlet like it should. It should protrude out further. I don't like the way that it fits...
