Use a Rubber Mallet
They are very sturdy and easy to use. My 5 year old was able to mostly carve his own pumpkin using the stencils and a rubber mallet. The scraping tool is very sturdy and does a great job getting the gunk out. I wish it had more knife tools besides the cutter templates but it was well worth what I paid for it (on sale). I’d recommend it for parents with kids who want to independently carve their own pumpkins.

Nice kit
This is my first pumpkin carving kit and I love it. Perfect for beginners.

Easy to Use
Purchased these to carve pumpkins with my grandchildren, and they were easy to use but I would recommend using a rubber mallet as opposed to a hammer because the hammer bent the stencils. But I think it was a great purchase because it made carving pumpkins with children 3-10 years old pretty easy.

Works great but they were small
Worked great and would be great for a small pumpkin but too small for normal sized pumpkin

Very easy to use
I like how easy it was to use with my son. I definitely recommend this kit. This was so much easier and quicker to use than a traditional kit.

Easy to use set. Worth the money.
Molds are strong, easy to use. I completed my carving in 30 minutes. This is my first time carving. Completely satisfied with this product. I will recommend to my friends.

Broke the first time we used them.
I got them for this past Halloween thinking they'd help allow my daughters to do more safer pumpkin carving themselves. The first time we went to use them though. The tools started breaking. My husband was going to send them back but we decided it wasn't worth our time. They ended up in the trash :(

Fast and spooky!
Used these during a zoom Halloween party and everyone wanted to know how I “carved” my pumpkins so fast. They did get bent going through the pumpkin so I might only get one more year out of them, but it was fun!
