Make sure you know what you're buying - I didn't read the long description and presumed this was the normal book. But it's a small-sized abridged version. Fine if that what you're after, but if you're buying this for nostalgia, seek out the full-sized one.Amazon could do a much better job of clarifying that this is not the original...

A childhood favorite that was a must-pick-up for my niece! Happy to pass this cute story on to a new generation of little girls! Love the board book format as they are easy to clean and perfect for little hands to read and play with without worrying about pages tearing out.

First book I ever read to my daughter when we brought her home from the hospital. Over 5 years later and it's still one of our favorites. She has fun hearing me try to put on a French accent and loves reading it herself now. Great book to include in a baby shower basket.

O wanted the original book with a hard front and back cover, larger in size, with paper pages and this did not meet my expectations since it was not described.

Turned out to be a board book and not the paperback I was hoping for
