Perfect Addition!
I love my wrens and have multiple houses for them around the yard which, sadly, had all been taken over by House Sparrows. The wrens were building nests in all sorts of places they didn't belong as a result. I finally had had enough and purchased this, and others like it, to protect the wren house entries. Now I only have frustrated House Sparrows. Sorry, not sorry. Winning! Happy wrens, happy life. I love my wrens and they love my mosquitos. Win/Win. Purchased a new, colorful, poly wren house and this yellow opening extender really sets it off. It's pretty and practical, keeping both the Sparrows and the Jays out! Got it too late for the 2019 nesting season and lost two wren clutches to Blue Jays! Hoping that this will stop that from happening in 2020! Hoping to add some bluebird housing this year as well. Now if the neighbor's cat would only lose it's taste for birds and fall in love with mice and moles instead!!

I have a very nice birdhouse that keeps being overtaken by sparrows
The wren portal cover and predator guard is made out of a quality composite material, and I think it looks nicer than just a basic metal predator guard. I have a very nice birdhouse that keeps being overtaken by sparrows, so I wanted to use this portal to keep the sparrows out and hopefully attract chickadees/ titmice/wrens etc. Although JCs Wildlife initially sent me a bluebird portal, which wasn't what I ordered, they quickly shipped me the correct wren portal and allowed me to keep the bluebird portal at no charge. Both shipments were made in a timely fashion. Now I just need to buy another bluebird house for my extra bluebird portal... and I think I might buy it from JCs Wildlife.

Cute and easy to assemble
Very cute birdhouse whole protector. Not sure it will hold up to the squirrels chewing on it. But for right now it is working well

These entrance restrictors for our Blue Bird feeders did the job! Easy to install and work great at keeping the predator birds out.

Chickadee Heaven
Great item! After bluebirds shunned my nest box, I put this on it and a chickadee pair moved in. I now have 7 hatchlings. Works well.
