Great purchase!
My active 80 yr old mother sprained her ankle and this brace got her back on her feet. It provided immediate relief and support. She can put it on and remove it without assistance. It’s comfortable, fully adjustable with easy to understand instructions. She prefers it with a thin sock underneath. She wears a size 9 wide shoe, but it seems like it would fit most sizes.

Helps with painful sprain
Bought this for my son when he sprained his ankle. He said it helped make it feel supported and less painful. It is great because it’s easy to put on, clean, and works on either foot. I would buy again

Comfortable and effective.
Velcro is very secure with good support, but can be tough to take apart.

Excellent fit adjustment & pain relief
Many years ago as a young teenager I broke my arch & all my toes. Medical technology wasn't great then so was just given a tradition plaster cast & eventually a rubber stopper tread on the bottom to be able to walk. Wore a plastic bag to keep it dry in the rain or to wash. When I hit 50 I needed to see a podiatrist for pain. I was getting osteoarthritis & pronating & tried custom orthotics wore them for a while but then switched to Power Step insoles, ( Amazon sells these also), & a hiking type shoe with non - flex bottom. Worked great & still use to this day 16 years later. However, last fall I caught that same foot & tripped in the garage & then did it again outside couple weeks later. I ended up with a split tear tendon & it was so painful! Took awhile to diagnose correctly - first they said a bone bruise... anyway I suffered & struggled for serval months & finally it started to feel less painful. It was hard to rest it all the time as I am generally a physically active person who exercises & enjoys the outdoors, bicycle riding, hiking etc. I decided to try to look on Amazon for a brace that might help me be more mobile & in less pain & help my tendon continue to heal. I tried this little brace & it was wonderful helps me stop pronating so much, fits in my shoe, stays put. At first I even slept in it & had less pain to start the day off with. Now I buy them in multiples, so I always have a clean one. After my tendon finally healed I continued to wear the brace because it just felt better to wear it than not. I can stand for hours cooking in the kitchen, do all my chores, or stand in line at the airport. They fit my foot well with so many places to adjust. The 2 straps you pull over each side is a real game changer for me. Others I tried from big box stores just offered compression & were usually too tight or too loose not really fitting well or being comfortable or offering support where I needed, they just squeezed my foot. I wear a women's size 8 W shoe but I'm not really that big but need to accommodate the insert & the injured foot has a wider & lower arch then my other foot. It's a real pain to find footwear! Anyway eventually the brace doesn't stay closed as well at the verybends of the 2 straps you pull over the sides to adjust as it gets a little more stretched over time with regular use & I trim them a little shorter just on the ends with scissors & try to remove some lint the Velcro has picked up ... remember I wear these all day every day, most of the time I don't need it at night anymore but occasionally if I had an extra long bicycle ride or hike & I'm a little sore I will wear a clean one in bed, otherwise I take it off before. I don't ever go barefoot, that just doesn't work for me. I wear one with a water shoe to the beach. I want you to understand I have worn them all the time for many months before that happens, so I think it's a great product! I generally buy 4 at a time. Now I just wish the manufacturer would also make them in a flesh tone color so when I dress up to go out or to a wedding it would be less noticeable! Black is fine for everyday but it would be great to have skin tones to wear with a pretty dress & go dancing! Sometimes people ask me why I only have one sock on! Oh well it's a small price to pay to get my life back with enjoyment! I hope that they will not sell out or no longer be available! Oh & they are affordably priced as well! I still wear some of the first ones I bought almost a year ago in May 2025! Fantastic product! Thank you so much!

Fix the seams and you’d have a perfect brace.
The inside seams cause irritation and swelling. I had this on my foot for 3 hours and had to take it off because it got to be unbearable. The brace itself is actually great, almost instantly stopped my ankle pain once I put it on. But the seams were painful and left marks all over my foot.

Bodyprox Ankle Support Brace Neoprene Sleeve, Adjustable Wrap has made a huge difference in 3 days!
This breathable Bodyprox ankle brace has a hole where the heel goes, easing the heel issues I was having with a re-occurring plantar issue of medium/high intensity. I was unable to walk much and had lots of discomfort so I bought this. Right away, I could do some of my normal tasks because it supported my foot, heel and arch, which helps. I sat more than usual to rest it and did my plantar exercises. The next day, I wore the brace again and did the yard work I needed to get done for a deadline! I was on it for 3 hours, doing vigorous work. WOW! Not sweaty in my boot. It impressed me. That night I wore a new night splint for plantar and today I could do most of my exercise class that didn't require lots of standing. I'm going grocery shopping now. Both devices seem to help in combination (brace by day, right angle splint by night for 3-4 hours.) I got a medium rather than going up another size (I have an 8D (wide) flat foot.) It would have been too big for my small bone structure. The brace is already just a tad big for me. I set my priority for healing and pain reduction, so I gave this 5 stars. The drawback is the complex directions which allow you to individualize for YOUR foot. I copied the picture and printed it enlarged. I then wrote down on each photo which flap went first. This 3rd day of use, it was pretty easy to put on. 1st photo: sit with leg at a right angle from the foot and push the heel in the hole, comfy; the small label is on the left back side. 2nd photo, The foot: There is 1 smaller flap on each of the front pieces. Put the right smaller front flap OVER the left (ie: the left smaller flap goes on the foot and then the smaller right one secures it on top without big gaps on the side. Play with this). 3rd photo, the ankle: Left flap goes over the right one on the ankle to secure it (ie: put the right flap over the ankle and secure it with the left). 4th photo, the foot to ankle: Left over right (ie: put the right one on the ankle and secure it with the left.) You need to pull these upwards on a diagonal to really support the arch. I think this is crucial! It's worth my time to do it right because it helps so much. I used the labelled photos to mark each brace flap on the top with consecutive numbers 1-6 in silver metallic permanent marker. It's so easy! Play around with how tight you like it, figure out how to make the side gaps minimal so it doesn't rub, and how high to do the last flaps. Take the time; it'll bring relief. I'm going to buy another so I can wash it more easily. I hope your plantar or other issue is helped by this too.

I’m the sprain queen…
Since I was young, I have sprained my my ankle. I’ve used a bandages, I have used air casts. Had I found this ankle support I would have bought it sooner. I can’t tell you how wonderful bodyprox ankle support is. It’s soft, it’s supportive. It is adjustable and machine washable. I’m going to say it fits 95% of people. I’m writing a review because I am logging on to buy 2 more, just in case.
