A bit overpriced, but it does the job
I bought this to use with SecurityIng Waterproof 1000 Lumens XM-L2 LED Diving Flashlight UnderWater 150m Depth Bright LED Lighting Lamp Dive Lights Torch for Diving and Gear Keeper RT3-0092 Locking Large Flashlight and Camera Retractor Stainless Steel Snap Clip Mount with Q/C-II Split Ring Accessory. The original lanyard went bad after the first dive. I have done five dives so far and it still looks new. I like the locking mechanism on both ends. The one closer to the device that you will attach can be adjusted to stay very tight. The material seems to dry quickly. There is one metal spring and one metal piece and so far I see no signs of rust. The reason why I decided to use one with a string is because I wanted to store the flashlight in my BCD, in the space above my integrated weight system and have it attached to the Gear Keeper (without pulling it up). After the other end is attached to my flashlight, it measures around 17 cm (see photo).
