I purchased the 5PCS Strip Discs for Angle Grinder – 115mm Paint & Rust Remover, and they worked extremely well on metal surfaces. I used them to remove old paint and surface rust from steel, and they cleaned the material back nicely without gouging or damaging the base metal. They’re aggressive enough to do the job properly but controlled enough to avoid thinning the surface, which is important on older metalwork. The 115mm size fits perfectly on a standard angle grinder, and the discs run smoothly with minimal vibration. They also last longer than expected, even when used on heavier rust areas. Ideal for restoration work, prep before repainting, or cleaning up fabricated steel. Very good value for a 5-piece set and definitely something I would buy again.

Replaces both my belt type and multi-tool sanders. Stripped rust and paint with ease. Substrate unharmed. Also, used to remove excess shed door wood - probably expanded due to recent, non-stop, rain. Hard wearing, still on my first disc.

Sized as described and one wheel removed rust from every surface of a very rusty toolbox. That wheel has now had its day… happy with these…

Got these for my angle Grinder to strip some paint off a old cycle frame, previously using a different brand on a drill mounted mandrel. These did the task but my god they are soft and don't last long. (I realise the speed is faster but we're so soft bits of it we're hitting goggles) Got through all of them on 1 frame.. Very disappointing would have expected them to last longer therefore wouldn't buy again. I will buy cheaper drill mounted ones that last longer.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. These came cellophaned together and fitted my 115mm grinder with no issues. My primary reason for purchase was to remove several years worth of paint on some banister rails. I was impressed that the wood wasn't left incredibly rough but smooth enough for a finish with 80 grit. Durability seems good a 5 metre rail only ate up one disc and we are talking about a few millimetres of thickness.
