If you want bass, then the Boompods Zero Talk Mini Portable Bluetooth Speaker is not for you. What you get is a tiny little speaker, that pumps out a very well controlled mid-range sound. Vocals are clear, and the overall sound is enjoyable. Bass is missing, but even if the speaker were capable of more bass, it is probably disabled, to stop the little speaker from jumping about. The sound quality is great for background music, and the volume can be pushed enough to fill a decent sized room, which is very impressive for such a tiny speaker. The Boompod Zero is the perfect travel companion. Pair it to your iPad, and you have the perfect mobile entertainment system. It is also superb for podcasts and anyone that likes white noise/natural sounds while sleeping. The icing on the cake is the Alexa feature. It works via your phone, but it is so convenient to be able to press the button on the base of the speaker, rather than unlock your phone. As long as you know what you are buying, highly recommended.

Simple to connect, works fine for such a small item. Sound is good. I deducted 1 star as it would be great if you did not need to push the button to talk to the device. It would be better if this was an option so you don't need to push button to talk to the device. Other than that, you can do all the same as any other voice operated alexa devices.

Great Little speaker, ideal to pop into my bag, good sound too

I feel really mean giving this one star as it is a lovely little product which might be perfect for some people's needs, but it has too many cons. The instructions are dreadful and could have been drawn by the average six year old. There are no proper instructions in English (or any other language), just mainly drawings. So learning to use it is frustrating. If you need a tiny blue tooth speaker with sound that can be very loud and is a big improvement on a smartphone, and is waterproof, then this could be ideal. It is really well made and is a little gem. BUT if you want to use it with Alexa, it is VERY limited. It only works via the app on your smartphone/lap top. You have to connect it each time. It works well with BBC sounds or to find a podcast etc. There is no base so listening to music is not likely to please many people. It pairs automatically but frequently at full volume (which is VERY loud). Some commands seem to be ignored. Eg I couldn't get "Alexa stop" to work at all, so the only option appeared to be the all-purpose button underneath: but in the absence of decent instructions, who knows. After a couple of hours use, it told me that its battery was low, but I didn't use it long enough to know if that was going to be an issue. The bluetooth range seemed excellent but instructions to Alexa could take half a minute to get a response. Sadly, I had to return it.

I wanted a bluetooth speaker to keep in my bag at all times as I always seem to end up in situations where I need one and didn't bring it along! This Boompod is small enough to be light and unobtrusive so can easily follow me anywhere! I think you need to be realistic about the limitations of this little speaker. It is an improvement on the sound from a phone, tablet or small laptop, and is capable of getting room-fillingly loud when needs be. However it does start to distort a bit at its highest volume level, but I can't ever imagine needing it so loud that would make it an issue to me. I've had it a good 12-15m away from the laptop it is bluetooth connected to and it has kept a steady signal which is particularly impressive, however at that point so much as putting yourself between it and the laptop will cause the signal to cut out. It's a subjective thing, but some reviews here praise the bass and I'm really just confused as to what they're going on about. It does have *some* bass in there but it is relatively weak. And I'm ok with that - I'd not expect something so small and inexpensive to be pumping out phat beats! On test tracks I use to judge speaker output, the lowest frequencies are almost entirely absent. Its mid levels are where all the power is being delivered and the overall quality of the sound is a bit flat. BUT it's not scratchy and tinny like phone speakers and that's the main thing. Haven't run it long enough to get an idea of battery life but if it gives about 3 hours I'll be content. If it fails to manage that I'll be back to edit this. I also have no interest in using Alexa on it so can't comment as to its capabilities there.

Sound is clear and they pair quickly. Small, lightweight, and comfortable for everyday use.

Very happy with my Boompod Zero. The sound is a bit tinny but as a mini speaker is quite powerful. I would recommend as very portable & connected easily via Bluetooth. The Alexa function is limited & unable to use Spotify.

Her seferinde kendi uygulamasına gidip halletmek kolay değil. Garanti için Qr kod okuttum. Türkçe dil desteği yok ! Adres için Türkiye ülke olarak yok bile . 80 milyon nüfuslu Türkiye yok ! 10 milyon nüfuslu ülkeler var. Hatalı / eksik pazarlama stratejisi. Umarım Türkiye'den yapılacak satışlarla firma bu hataları düzeltir. Türkiye'de 09. 2024 tarihinde pek bilinmeyen ama potansiyeli çok olan ürün.

Der Klang und die Lautstärke ist phänomenal !!! Wenn man Alexa Handsfree aktiviert hat, findet Alexa das Gerät sofort. Man kann dann die Box weitesgehend nutzen (Telefonieren hab ich in dem Bereich aber nicht ausprobiert, da ich mir dachte, solange die Zero Box nicht in den Einstellungen von Alexa nicht als Gerät in der Liste auftaucht und ich die Rechte nicht einstellen kann, macht das keinen Sinn). Für die weiteren Optionen des Gerätes sollte man natürlich auch die dazugehörige App installieren, für die Freigaben der Telefonate usw. und damit die Zero Box auch in den Alexa Geräte n zu finden ist und darüber auch Steuerbar ist. Das verbinden mit der App, eigentlich einfach, wenn man weiß wie. Hab dafür auch etwas gebraucht, um dahinter zu steigen. Man sollte das Gerät dafür, im Bluetooth nicht schon verbunden haben, sonst misslingt die Verbindung in der App. Ist komisch, ist aber so. Am besten auch Bluetooth dafür deaktivieren. App starten, die Box auswähln und erst wenn man in der App dazu aufgefordert wird, Bluetooth aktiveren, dann den Zero Talk (mit dem Kopfhörer Zeichen) verbinden, dann geht es in der App auch schon weiter mit der Anmeldung im Alexa Konto (wie in der Beschreibung abgebildet). Sobald das erledigt ist, hat man nun auch die Möglichkeien die notwendigen App Einstellungen/Rechte vorzunehmen und die Zero Box ist nun auch bei den anderen Geräten in der Alexa App zu finden. Sollte es wieder Erwarten nicht klappen, einfach mal das WLAN auf 2,4 GHz für die Einrichtung umstellen. Denn In der Regel wird man in einer Anleitung darauf hingewiesen, dass die Einrichtung nur über das 2,4 GHz durchführt werden kann. Ich persönlich habe nicht die Feststellung gemacht, das daß bei allen Einrichtungsgeräten notwendig war, selbst wenn es angemerkt wurde, war das nicht immer nötig, aber daran liegt es im Zweifelsfall auch oft !!! Ich weiß, hier handelt es sich um eine Bluetooth Box, aber eine mit Alexa (und bei den meisten Geräten die mit Alexa verbunden werden sollen, ist geht das oft nur über das 2,4 GHz Wlan) !!! Bei dieser Box , wüßte ich Jetzt nicht, das es irgendwo steht (habe die Beschreibung in Amazon, diesbezüglich aber nur überflogen). Zum Gerät selber: Ich habe mich von den Rezessionen überzeugen lassen, das dieser "Kleine" hier, einen guten Sound hat. Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen! Normalerweise ist es der Fall, das so lauter eine Bluetooth Box abspielen soll, umso "furchtbarer" wird in der Regel der Klang. Bei dieser ist jedoch genau das Gegenteil der Fall! Ich bin echt begeistert, für die Größe, echt Mega ! Super klarer, kräftiger Sound, auch auf der höchsten Lautstärke. Kein verzerren, kein krachen, kein Blechender Klang!!! Die Box kann auch über den "Button" (an der Unterseite der Box , komplett gesteuert werden, aber ich ich bevorzugen es, dies alles über die gewohnte Sprachsteuerung über einem Alexa Gerät zu tun. Z.B. Einfach sagen: Computer (oder wie Euer Gerät halt heißt) :...spiele meine Playlist... Lieblingsmusik...auf meinem Zero ab.(so heißt die kl. Box derzeit noch bei mir). Wenn ich mein Handy in der Nähe habe (wo Alexa Handsfree immer aktiviert ist) funktioniert das natürlich auch darüber. Die Handsfree Alexa , heißt/reagiert immer auf Alexa. Funktioniert bei mir über beides, ohne Probleme. Was auch super ist, die Größe! Für den kleinen findet man selbst in der Hosentasche Platz, erst Recht dann in jeder Jacke und Tasche !! Ich empfehle Ihn gerne weiter und aufgrund seiner Soundqualität und Kompaktheit, werde ich alle Gelegenheiten in Anspruch nehmen, um es zu nutzen/vorzuführen !!

Helaas heeft deze boompods contact nodig met een telefoon om alexa te gebruiken. Check van te voren of de Hi) app geschikt is voor je telefoon, mijn galaxy s23 wordt niet ondersteund.

Petit enceinte toute mimi, que l'on peut emmener partout. Facile a transporter, bonne autonomie. Le son est correct. Franchement, elle faut largement son prix. 3 mois plus tard, elle ne fonctionne plus... Alors je sais, vu le prix, on ne peut pas demander la lune. Mais quand même, 3 mois ça fait pas une longue durée de vie... Très déçue

First of all, it can't be connect to echo dot directly. Secondly it cant'be used handsfree. To use Alexa, you need to press a button everytime, which is very annoying. Not recommended as an Alexa compatible device. If you need a bluetooth speaker, there are better than this in the market.
