I’ve always loved OXO!! This apple slicer is very sharp, and seems like good quality steel. And, with the comfy side grips it’s a super convenient and easy way to slice an apple!! Slices both small and large apples.

I like apples and can cut and core with the best of them, but it does get a bit tedious when I want to add cut apples to a dinner menu at the last moment. I finally broke down and got this apple slicer and am delighted with it. One reviewer said it didn't work well with large apples, but the ones I buy (Gala, Pink Lady, Cosmic Crisp) are smaller and this slicer is just the right size. The slices come out neat and clean without any bits of core. Occasionally, however, I will come across a wonky apple that is somewhat tilted, but the bit of core that adheres to the slices is easily cut away. The slicer is easy to clean - I think it can go in the dishwasher but I prefer to wash by hand. The handles make the slicer easy to handle and cutting the apple a pleasure. Great product!

This apple slicer is so convenient! I hate biting into apples and I always struggled trying to slice them with a knife. I previously bought a similar one from Williams-Sonoma and it was so difficult to press and cut the apple, and it hurt my hands. OXO knows how to make products that work efficiently and comfortably. This quickly and efficiently cuts my apples into easily eatable sections!

Why on earth did I not purchase or did no one give me one of these twenty years ago? Freaking amazing. The number of apples I’ve hand cut up over the years. Mom of 3 plus sometimes nanny and snack bar. Brilliant.

This is a brilliant tool. Works really well, but if your apples a bit wonky you'll get a small amount of core to trim out. Also chips potatoes into wedges.

One of the best gadgets. I wish I got one sooner. Not the easiest to clean so make sure ro run it under hot water right after using. Cuts my apples so easily and so perfectly every time.
