Works Great!!!
I learned about this product from Johnny VEe in one of his cooking classes and Santa Fe. I am mediately bought one. It is actually quite amazing. It takes only about 8 to 10 minutes to use and provides a remarkable flavor assist to whatever I am smoking without going to all the trouble of turning on the large outdoor smoker. I use it to smoke steaks, which I didn't turn into chili. This provides an amazing depth of flavor that I just don't get if I don't smoke the meat first. I also use it to lightly smoke fish and chicken for some recipes. This is a remarkable burst of pure joy in the winter time when we don't tend to use our smoker. I am very happy with this product.

More like sawdust than chips
I got these to cold smoke cheese on my Weber kettle using the Cold Smoke Generator tray. I don't think I'd use them for anything bigger like ribs or chicken, but I suppose you could if you put it in a smoke tube on your heat. The wood is ground up kind of fine so it's more like a chunky sawdust, but it smolders well. Once you get it lit let it burn for a few minutes then blow it out and put your grill lid down and go about your business. The smoked cheese turned out great. I was expecting it to have more color on it, but the smoke flavor was there. I cold smoked it for about 4.5 hours and still had chips left in the tray. As always do your own research and decide what will work best for what you are trying to do. The chips/sawdust worked well for me doing a cold smoke.

Good quality.
I have used all the flavors and they work well in my stove top smoker. Very pleased with them.

Essential for stove top smoker
We have a Cameron’s stove top smoker that we use almost weekly to smoke fish and sometimes chicken. These chips are essential and the three pack offers some variety to our recipes.

Cameron wood chips
This three pack is just the thing for using the Cameron smoker.Based on the amount of chips to use in the smoker's cookbook are a good buy. I smoked chicken with the cherry and it was great! Can't wait to try pulled porK with the pecan wood!I was given the smoker as a Christmas present and for our family it is just the right size. I have used it in the house and while no smoke gets into the house the smell of the wood chips adds to the dining experience. The Christmas package came with some small wood samples but I like to grill with fruit flavor woods in the summer, my birthday gift was the fruit woods. These were shipped quickly as promised (came on a Saturday, promised on the following Monday). The packaging was just about right too, not to much extra and easy to get into but done so nothing would spill or get damaged.I am very pleased with both of these products and can't wait to try it outdoors but may still open the smoker in the house for that great smell while enjoying the great taste as well.

They burn very nicely, very evenly for me
Although a tad more expensive than the 'larger' wood chips, these much smaller chips, somewhat larger than sawdust, are much more convenient for me in my wood smoker. I don't have to soak these in water. They burn very nicely, very evenly for me. I'm not very experienced and, so far, I find these much smaller chips easier to control at a "lower level" of smoke. I'm using these chips, milder I believe than mesquite and hickory and oak, because my wife is really averse to a heavier smokiness. (I avoid mesquite - to me it's bitter.) Although the packaging looks smaller than the regular size chips, which have a lot of air space in the package, these are packed much more densely, so I feel I get just as much wood and smoke/fire than a larger package of regular size smoking chips. They're worth a try! BTW, in lieu of a brisket, try a "blade" cut someday! My butcher says they can't keep them in stock and some people cut a blade into steaks?!
