Why do you think it's called the "Power" Sword? Yeah, Skeletor doesn't know that! That's why that ninny keeps losing to a blonde kid with bowl cut and a green cat for a best friend! Now, not just any batteries power that sword. No, no! The Power Sword can only be fueled by the rare Cylinders of Power. These magical items were thought lost to time, but the wizards of Einir'jyzar reverse-engineered these puppies from an ancient recipe found in a lost tomb of some forgotten sage...somewhere. Who cares? What's important is that these wizards did it! They successfully built the ancient Cylinders of Power, then field tested them on Eternia. No mundane test would do, you see. The Cylinders had to be pushed to their limits, and so, they fit them into the legendary Power Sword. Now, testing and troubleshooting rare magical items means dealing with unintentional scenarios—like a sorceress leading a blonde kid with a bowl cut and a green cat for a best friend into an ancient castle and GIVING him the sword you were planning to field test your Cylinders in. The wizards of Einir'jyzar, however, weren't deterred. They weren't dismayed. They weren't discouraged. An opportunity had presented itself! Good news, my friends. Those crazy wizards at Einir'jyzar did it! What you see before you are miniaturized Cylinders of Power, known by the layfolk as "batteries." These beauties last a LONG time. They are capable of powering nearly any magical item, such as the wand you use for your wall-mounted Living Entertainment Picture. Now, as an honest wizard, I need to be straightforward here. These miniaturized CoPs have their limits. The originals were about the size of your palm, and fit within the hilt of legendary swords. They're heavy as a necromancer's sense of humor. To aid people in their use, without weighing them down, the wizards made them smaller. The drawback is that the process made them less...eternal. They last a long time, but not forever. You'll need to replenish your power source, and for that, the good wizards of Einir'jyzar have you covered.
