Great grinder I’ve had it now a little over a year and it’s still kicking. I used it during the summer heat it gets over 110 degrees in the shop and it did not give out. I really like the smooth start not much kick when you start it up.

Really great and nice grinder. Fits in small hands like mine and gave me a good grip. Powerful and very smooth motor. No vibration of any sort. I selected this version of Metabo because it is Made in Germany and the quality speaks for itself. Been cutting and grinding a lot since I got this and it can take a beating. So far so good and it keeps on grinding, cutting and motor humming along without showing any signs of issues.

Wow, one bad ass grinder.👍 I am not easy with my tools, I use them and this one takes it well.

As for the grinder, blows Dewalt and Milwaukee out of the water. You feel the difference right away. So smooth yet powerful. Like finely tuned gears. No vibration because it’s so tight and stable. Sounds different too. Quieter but intense. BUT, mine was likely a repackage of some sort. The box was tattered. And there was a scuff on the grinder like it had been dropped. Wasn’t packed with anything. Just loose in a package box in inside a bigger box. For the prestige of a premium tool I expected more care. This was my entry test into switching all my power tools to Metabo(German) tools. Now I am very hesitant. And shopping others like Festool, Fein, Milwaukee, etc.

What can I say… This grinder is pretty amazing. I love the power, I love the speed, I love the slide switch. The quick disconnect is pretty normal… Doesn’t change how I use the grinder. This grinder is pretty amazing for the money.
