Atari Flashback 4 Retro Game Console - Electronic Games

Is what I experienced w/my new game system. It is amazing in every way. Shipping and receiving not a problem - prompt, everything was great. Space Invaders !!!!!!

huge disappointment.was looking forward for these device.got it, very easy to use and plug and play, very relible, but...terrible graphics.it has a menu with 72 games, u can't understand what the game is, only after uploading it.than it is still terrible, could invest a little bit on upgrading the device to fit a normal tv.from the 72 games, only space invaders is worth the time.my son also gave up on it...as I said...as high as the expectations the higher the disappointment.

The games really did not get the get the attention of my Grandkids that the older games did to my boys when they were that age. Lot of sport games but no real family fun games. Games that families can sit around on rib each other on their scores.Also the control sticks really worry me they do not seem like they will take the use that will be needed on most of the games. I fear we will have broken controls very soon.

I couldn't resist the low price and me and the wife have been having a trip down memory lane playing classics like Asteroids as well as VERY fun homebrew titles like Save Mary. The only downsides are the Space Invaders isn't the original Atari but the arcade version (still plays very well) and of course there is some classics like Namco and Nintendo games that aren't here for licensing reasons but the games that are here run just like the originals and you can go to their website and download all of the original 2600 manuals which is a nice touch.

Received the Atari and it did not work well at all..... so I sent it back for a refund. I paid $49.99 and only received about $22 back - they took out a $25 Re-stocking fee on a product that did not work. I was extremely angry with this. Contacted amazon and they requested the remaining $27.99 which they issued. Sad they try to get away with this and see if no one complains or requests the full amount.

It came on time and I was able to get it hooked up and the joysticks are wireless witch is great so there is no tangled cords to mess with I like how the #1 joystick acts as both a remote and as a joystick so you can Change and select your game without having to get up and do it on the console. This really brings back memory's of wen I was a kid in the 80's that was an awesome decade. I like how all the games are built into one console so you don't have to change a cartridge or game disc when you want to play a different game. I think this is great for any one who wants to relive the days of atari and play there favorite atari games again and have a way to think back for a moment to relive the 80's.

The graphics are poor. It didn't have some of the games I liked like Pole Posistion, Pitfall or Pac-man. It was not wrth the hype.

In response to those who are giving this unit bad ratings and commenting that this gaming console has bad graphics:1) This is a recreation of an Atari. ALL Ataris have bad graphics! If this unit had good graphics, it would not be a realistic reproduction of an Atari.2) If you want something with better graphics, do not buy this product. It is that simple.3) However, if you want to experience what it was like to play video games in the early to mid 1980's (specifically on an Atari), this unit delivers.Please note:All of the enemies, "characters," ammo, etc in Atari games are only made up of a few pixels. That is what ALL video games were like during the early to mid 1980's. If you don't want that, don't buy this.
